Default Best In-dash Headunit

I'm looking for the best quality headunit for my 2010 MS3. I looked on the Search function but pretty much all of the threads were about member's installs. I just purchased this car four days ago and it's awesome! However, the stock stereo leaves a little to be desired.

I found the eonon, which looks REALLY awesome. However in another thread a member was saying he had issues with fitting the unit. I'll take any advice/suggestions, thanks!

I replaced it with a single board computer playing "Back in Black" on loop, a 10 kilowatt stereo amplifier, and a single analog knob that goes to 11.

You question makes no sense. "Besy quality head unit for my ms3" based on that i would say get a oem radio.......
Or maby i have no clue about car audio and i bought this awesome cheap pos ebay radio that works great for me. I highly recommend it. The seller said it was the best radio.

Go to a car audio shop and find the most expensive radio there and you have found the best one. Its like saying hey guys whats the best color to paint my fingernails or hey who makes the best cock rings for a Alaskan cock...

I mean sure, because a forum where we discuss Audio specific to our cars is a terrible place to ask what headunit others have used on their cars. I wasn't saying hey where can I waste the most money on a headunit.

I appreciate the douchebag answer though, you were incredibly helpful. Will for sure take your advice.

A lot of aftermarket radio's don't have a flush fit, and also sometimes don't retain use of steering wheel controls. Which is why I was asking the question, I'm in the market for something that will have a great fit and also retains the steering wheel control.

I got the Eonon, retains steering wheel controls, touch screen, optional rear camera, I thinks it’s the best bang for your buck, much like the speed3.

the eonon radios are good for a plug and play solution but based on what ive seen they are not the highest end quality. if you want something a little better look at a kenwood excelon series, or a higher end pioneer or apline. the model to look at will depend entirely on the features you would like ie. android auto or apple car play. with an aftermarket radio like this you will need a dash mount kit, and wiring harness, and a steering wheel control module. Cost starts to add up quick haha so really depends how good of a headunit you want. if you want "decent" cheap and cheerful go with the eonon

the best direct fit unit is from eonon. Currently they make the best for the gen1s as well, but a big con is that they don't make them with a silver face like Caska did, this being the reason why I didn't get one so far, so I still have the good old winCE Caska.

EONON sucks imo.

My plan is get a good headunit that supports AndroidAuto and Apple carplay. Headunit is $400, module to preserve steering controls about $70, and install stuff about $40.

A bit expensive but worth it for me.

Do you have a link to some on-line store that sells such an unit? I'd like one too, actually I'm hoping they have something in silver trim.

you can check out https://www.sonicelectronix.com/ to browse some decent headunits that support apple car play or android auto. after a quick search it seems as if the only mounting kits available are black

Also, you can go to crutchfield, enter your car and view headunits, then filter using "Android Auto".

Hmm maybe I can find a paint code for the interior plastic and spray a few kits in the summer.
