Default Dasaita head unit?

I've searched and searched (both on here, and on the google), but have found nothing about these head units. I found a thread on a 4Runner forum, and the dude had rave reviews about it.

https://www.aliexpress.com/store/pro...612.0.0.1sBywC

Does anyone have any experience with these? It seems like a great unit (same OS as the Eonon GA7163 with twice the RAM, same storage space, bigger screen).

I bought this headunit and have had it for ~2-3 weeks now. The fitment of the unit is great, better than my eonon I had on my genone. It's also very fast, responsive, and lots of space for customization and apps. It connects to my Bose connectors without any issue and the sound quality is better than oem (subjective). However, I can't recommend the unit due to two major flaws. The "screen" is too low by 0.5cm (see my pics below), and its IMPOSSIBLE to read under any sunlight. I cut an anti-glare ipad screen protector to fit and I still can't see anything with the brightness on full. For example, when I run spotify, it has a grey background with white font. All i see when looking at it while driving is a reflection of whatever is on my right.

If you want to take the risk: Here's that vendor's other store selling it for less.

Oh and they use DHL to ship, so if you get it shipped straight to Canada instead of across the border and picking it up, expect a duty fee ~60% of the product price. I made that mistake once with my dash cam hardwire kit and paid $20 in duties for a $30 connector.

Awesome. Thanks for the input. You were going to post images? I'd love to see it all installed.

There's a few on the feedback page on the link I posted.

Forgot to add that the GPS signal seems good, and the included iGO Nav hasn't failed me (yet). I'm curious to see the refresh rate on it. Headed to Area27 track again in August and will do lap logs on both my phone+qstarz combo, well as the headunit

Yes all the wheel controls work.

No idea on Sirius. Im guessing no since there's no way to switch back to that mode. You'll have Spotify instead so why bother with sirius. Wheel controls on the right side for the GPS and mini screen still work however.
