Very tempted to try this. Any regrets from those that have?

I just ordered the unit. Trying to find a video hoping to see the best way to route the wire.

I just installed mine. One thing I learned the hard way was start at the back. The hole saw they send you is just perfect for mounting the camera. You remove the bumper drill the hole in the bumper and through the sheet metal then run the wires through and around the passenger side.

Definitely wanna do this to my speed. How did you run/hide the wires going back to the stereo?

Under the carpet to the back then there is a rubber plug I drilled a hole in to get it outside. You can see where the tag light wires go in and it's around there. I forgot to take a picture of it.

Here is the ebay kit I used.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/2013-2015-C...72.m2749.l2649

I also have this if you wanna buy it.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/CCD-Reverse...19.m1438.l2649

It took too long to come in from China so I just drilled a hole in my bumper from the other kit. This other one mounts on the tag light and you won't have drill a hole and just run the wires where the tag light wiring is.

I bought this kit for my '13 with Tech, doesn't seem to work. 2013-2015-CX5-Mazda-Back-Up-Camera-System
Wired up, no reaction when going into reverse - with a voltmeter I get 6V from the headunit on startup and then it bleeds down to .25V almost right away. I snipped the harness right before the camera, it does the same thing.

**EDIT**
Harness must have a bad ground connection somewhere. I went to the HU diagnostic menu by holding down power button and Seek>>, input code 92. This will manually flip the screen to camera input. I grounded to the chassis and it works like a charm.
