(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  Hesitation at WOT CorkSport turbo So I have what useems to be an intermittent issue. At WOT around 4.5k to redline I get some hesitation and what sounds like some backfiring or sputtering from the exhaust . Mods: Built block. Manley pistons and rods. King bearings CST4 turbo Cs TMIC CPE HPFP Cs BCS Cs BPV Cs 3.5 bar map sensor HTP 3.5 intake Stock dp UR race pipe Stock cat back The map I’m running is custom map that Will at PD did for the previous owner. However the car had a CS TBE with that tune. Looking at my logs i see fuel cutting to around 900 then shooting right back to 1800 2 lines after boost drops to like 4 psi then right back 18 psi. My logic is saying a massive intake with stock exhaust may be the issue. I’m guessing I need a tune. Planning on getting one anyway. But I don’t want to pay for a tune if I my have an underlying issue. Oh. And I’m not going back to CS exhaust. The noise is just too much. That will be for sale here shortly. If any an can help me out it would be greatly appreciated. I can post up a log if anyone wants to see it. |
