Default P0245 CEL

Hey all

I'm having an intermittent P0245 CEL ever since I flashed the Cobb stage 3 tune. It was on an unknown tune before, so I flashed to a OTS temporarily until I have time/money to hit up Rob at Hypnotic. I know OTS tunes aren't the best

Car likes to make anywhere from 12-14psi max. I know Cobb tunes are load based, and in cold weather it'll take less psi. But Stage 3's goal peak psi is 18.5, and I'm making 14.

I haven't had time to look at it yet (I'm staying out of boost for right now), but if anyone could point me in the right direction as to where to check, that'd be awesome. My first instinct is a bad EBCS, but I could be wrong.

I can post logs if needed!

Based on a quick search, it sounds like your EBCS may be failing.

That's what my research came up with too, I just wasn't 100% sure on it

The Cobb OTS tunes are boost-based and shitty.

P0245 usually means your EBCS wiring or connector is either disconnected or bad. It could also mean the EBCS is bad.

I checked all the wiring to and from the EBCS and everything is all good. Looks like I'll be adding a GrimmSpeed part to my sig soon lmao

Yup. You can also order the MAC kit from JBR. It's literally the same exact valve.

I found with the upgraded EBCS I could get that K04 to actually hold more boost. Good upgrade for those who like a little more at the high end....

And you've already got the Meth to deal with the heat.
