Nator Wars = Nator Olympics

We're going to organize a bunch of fun activities and score them. It will be a head to head vs all neighboring Nator Chapters that are up for the Challenge. As of right now I expect to see:

Nator NY
Nator NJ
Nator PA
Nator DE (hopefully enough turn out for a DE only squad)
Nator DC
Nator VA

(pm me if you want your chapter added)

Any other chapter that would like to jump in. I would just ask that your group be at least 5 ACTIVE members of NATOR, and not some dude that came to a meet once lol.


Activities
Some of the activities you can expect are: (we will likely be adding other ones as time goes by)

Dodge ball
volley ball
garbage bag race aka potato sack race
The spin around the bat 10 times and run down a course thing.
watermelon eating contest (My money is on any darkie on any team!)
water balloon toss
Sumo Wrestling suits (back by popular demand!)
kickball


make some suggestions I'll add more stuff on here. So we'll create a points system, and declare the Nator Wars chapter winner at the end of the day. We may even have a trophy for the winners.


Also, this place has a trail that circles the water for biking and hiking, there is also frisbee golf courses, and fishing.


Cost and Payment

Adults: $20
Kids: $10

This will cover food, drinks, and bbq supplies (read: MEAT!)

*There is a gate fee for entering the park. It is $6 for out of state cars, and $3 for instate cars.
**Do not send us the gate fee... just be sure to have cash the day of...

We will need to arrange for a canopy or two in case of surprises in weather but we should have plenty of shade right where our tables will be. I wanna emphasize to everyone that his is a family event. No there will be no installs or races on this day, just pure fun and great memories to cherish. So don’t hide your wife or hide your kids like my man Antoine Dodson. So wives and Children are definitely a must.

Lodging

Howard Johnson Inn University Newark

Everyone is responsible for their own hotel arrangements, we will not be reserving a block of rooms. The hotel above has rates starting at $170/night (as of 6/20/13). **Book through booking.com or kayak, way cheaper**

This is a bit of a drive for some, and just a long day in the sun in general. You may want to book a room just to be safe. Plus after the event we may go to dinner for drinks and shenanigans and bonding, and you definitely won't want to be on the road after that.
