Notes from the install I forgot to mention.

1. For some reason my timing cover does not have the stud mentioned in the instructions to attach the clamp to hold the metal pipe by the passenger side of the oil pan. Could not install the clamp.

2. The kit fits perfect with the CorkSport under tray plate installed.

3. Did not had to cut or trim the coupler that attaches to the turbo outlet to fit with a GTX2867 as is needed with K04 or BNR turbos.
We're very pleased to hear you're loving the kit. Thanks for providing your feedback.

Has your car has ever had the timing cover removed for any reason?

OK so I got the undermount kit installed yesterday and I have a couple questions.
Firstly, I bought the wastegate actuator relocation bracket but for the life of me I couldn't figure out how to get it to fit with my BNRs3. I ended up fitting it as is without your bracket, by widening some holes on the BNR bracket and such, but I have to ask, is that bracket actually meant for a BNRs3 and if so, do you pics, or a link to a how-to?

My second question was, you guys mention having to trim one of the silicone pieces in order to get in on either the stock turbo or BNRs3. I didn't find I needed to do that at all but then again, I'm wondering why I would cause it fit otherwise.

More input on this would be nice. Thanks.

You only need the clocking kit for the BNR S1 and the KO4. The BNR S2 and 3 can be clocked using the bracket they come with.

The kit can be installed without cutting the turbo hose. We found that it looked and fit better with it cut shorter.

These are all the answers I needed. I would possibly clarify that on the page you sell this on, cause I assumed it was for all BNR's and that's $15 I would have rather not have spent.

Anyhow, aside from that the kit is very nice and it's so nice to have so much more room under the hood, all in all a pretty well built kit.

My only concern in this kit personally was the T-Bolt bracket clamp. I was not a fan of that clamp being put directly onto a metal pipe. I did wrap some silicone repair tape around the pipe beforehand, but I was curious what your thoughts on that clamp being directly on metal are?

Are you worried it's gonna scratch the powder coating? If the clamp is tight the hot side pipe will move along with the engine and any flex would go to the silicone couplers.

Jamie. Yes the timing cover was removed when the engine was rebuilt earlier this year.

Update from yesterday at dyno day... the coupler that attaches to the compressor came off.. I noticed that the t bolt clamp is maxed out a the bottom of the threads on my turbo (GTX 2867) to get tight around it. Not sure what is the fit with K04 or BNR but might need to go one size smaller tbolt on mine. Any suggestions?

I think our product page does mention what turbos require the bracket but I will check.

As mentioned, if the clamp is tight it will not rub or scratch the powder coat. The repair tape will also work well so no need to fuss with it unless the clamp is not tight.

I'm not sure bout the outlet size on the 2867 and if it differs from OEM. The clamp we include does not max out on the K04 or the BNR on the ones we've installed here.

Outlet size should be right at 2" on GTX. The hose clamp I had on it with the Cobb FMIC piping was 52/64 mm size. I believe your kit comes with a 60/68 mm which will explain why is maxing out. I think I am going to switch the clamp for my old one and see how it goes.

Changed the T-bolt clamp to the 52/64 mm I had and I believe that coupler is there to stay...

Sorry to bring this back from the dead but seeing as the BNR s4 is out im wondering if anyone has ran it while using this kit? I would like to upgrade to a s4 but not 100% sure it will fit.

Well the question would be, how well does the BNRs4 clock and is there room to clock it and fit it in the space?
Those are the questions that would be interesting to see.

Considering people do it with gt30 series turbo's, there should be no reason a smaller turbo wouldn't be able to clock and fit.

I tried clocking my S4 today and I ran into a minor issue, the wastegate actuator hits the compressor housing not allowing me to bolt the wastegate bracket back on to the turbo.

I'm gonna look at getting some flat metal to try to fabricate my own actuator bracket and go from there.

So I contacted Bryan at BNR and he does offer an alternative bracket if you are going to clock your S4. I'd suggest you specify with whom ever your are ordering yours from that you plan to run under mount intercooler piping.
