| Not Ranked : 0 score Wouldn't route any air down on the 6, it would only prevent air going up. The 6 front is molded to drive air up from the upper part of the upper grill, and has an extra plastic shroud that should be removed if you run FMIC to allow direct air path to the radiator instead of pushing air up as well. (Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score @TiGraySpeed6; Yep, your thread is a good first step to make air flow at the radiator, but it doesn't seal off the air flow abovef the radiator through the gaps where the ducting to the TMIC shroud used to be. I'm looking for something that will seal them off also to increase the differential pressure across the radiator and thus air flow through it. Leaving those gaps open gives the air flow at the front of the car an easier path to the engine bay around the radiator. So, really looking to take your good work up another level.

| Not Ranked : 0 score It actually doesn't have an easy path- the top opening flows up, the lower opening flows straight to the radiator. Along with sealing up the bottom you get stock coolant temps. If you want to stop air flow from entering the engine compartment via the top opening, where the TMIC ducting is/was, using a variation on the raider plate might work but I don't see it lowering coolant temps. With the unique stepped shape of our hood and bumper we'd only need a plate in the center area. It would be interesting to see what thickness of material would be just right to deal with the slight upward curve of the hood, but not be too thick for the sides of the center section. Very possible it could replace the washers for the screws that mount the bumper and center grill piece...... Anyway, it'd help keep things clean, but wouldn't help with coolant temps. Worth taking a stab at though...

| Not Ranked : 0 score The rad support is designed to push air up into the TMIC ducting. Unless you cut that support the best you can do is block airflow into the engine compartment.
