Jack stands are like $20 at advanced auto. I would just do that.

I would not put my life under a set of $20 jackstands. I have the Craftsman Overkill 3.75 ton, 4 post stands. Why? Because bigger steel. I have a set of those Crapsman $20 stands, and they looks so sketch.

Im not saying I have them but they are 2.5 ton from what I remember. Lol.

Having the chance of the car falling make you work faster which leads to a quicker install times and more driving time

I just helped someone install a CPE trans mount over the weekend and we did it on ramps and it was a paint (not just because of the design) every time we jacked the motor up the car would also move with it. When we did my JBR trilogy we use jack stands and it was a cake walk to get the engine to move how we wanted and not the car with it. JBR's mounts are also a better design for ease of install.

When ever I work on my car, I drive up on ramps first and then if I need to put it on stands I can easily get my monster of a jack under the car to use my over sized truck stands under the car.

Best upgrade that the non jbr brand RMM urethane perished.
