(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score So my bride asked me what I wanted for our anniversary and I immediately sent her the link for the JBR shift knob. (She got me the Short Shift Plate and bushings last year) Well, it arrived today, and like a kid on Christmas morning I was outside installing it within minutes of ripping open the package. After some fiddling to get it lined up (according to the excellent instructions) I took it for a quick spin around the block to see if it really made a difference. OH... MY... GOD... The difference is like night and day. The notchiness in the transmission when shifting, that I HATED, is completely GONE!! Shifts are buttery smooth, and effortless. The shift knob itself is easy to grasp and feels great in the hand. I got the black one with the red 6-speed emblem. It looks completely natural in the car, matching perfectly with the stock shift boot. I can hardly wait to drive to work tomorrow. Thanks Jamie... satisfied customer, again! BUY THIS SHIT!!! At $75 it's a f**king STEAL. Last edited by alien_sporez; 04-12-2011 at 01:43 PM. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score ^ spot on. it is amazing what a difference jamie's big 'ol knob makes. my only complaint is the coldness of the metal in the morn. i need some goatskin driving gloves.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I thought the exact same thing when I installed my first heavy knob. I was always of the opinion it was rice; man was I wrong. I thrilled you like it. Thanks, Jamie |
