JBR OEM replacement FSB bushings

Anyone have this issue when installing? The bushing itself is slightly bigger than OEM. It is 1.0" ID though. I am waiting for a call back. But in the mean time, I'd see if I just got the wrong one or somehow did something wrong.. Haha

My engine is out of the car so I figured it'd be a good time to tackle the FSB bushings.

Were out if town so a call back won't be until Tuesday but what I do know is on some models the brackets need to be filed open a bit. They look very close in that picture so it should be pretty simple.

Edit.... You'll need to knock that collar over a bit. A few taps with a hammer and a flat head screw driver will do it. You'll be all set after.

So is that official? Or did I get a special case? Normally, fitting a hammer and flat head in this spot would be a huge pain in the ass.

That bracket will last you a year, two tops. It's a shame they come with an upgraded RSB. It's also a shame that Corksport sells one, but for 8 million dollars.

My RSB is from Tri-Point. After the initial bracket broke, they charged me for an upgraded one. It's still good after about 4 years. Don't have a part number for you though.

Thanks for the info. But this is for the front. I assume its the same story though lol

On the oem front bar you will never need to replace that bracket. Let's get our facts straight here please.

Huh? Not sure what you mean here.

You said the bracket will fail in a year...I'm saying it will not fail when used the OEM front bar.

ah yes. I've heard no issues with front.

Just replaced mine with JBR's front replacements as well and both bracket mount holes had to be widened in order for them to fit. It was well over 1/8"on each bracket on the opposite side of the collar.

Best bet for anyone doing this is to fit it and feel where the holes are and modify as needed. Every car will be different.

I couldn't get much into that space with the subframe on, so tapping the collar over wasn't going to work for me.

If you compare the jbr ones vs the oem you will notice they are substantially wider.

Did those and the upgraded rear sway mounts and like them very much.
