Have the stock end links been tested to be capable of supporting a bar that is double the stiffness in hard cornering or track conditions?

They held up perfectly at Thunderbolt last month with the bar set on the stiffest setting.

Thanks,

Looks good and good price! I've loved the SSP and bushings from you, so I may have to nab this too.

Yeah, I'm gonna pick one up here in about a week or so. How long does this introductory pricing last?

Intro pricing will run for about 2 weeks after I bring them online and start shipping.

"Applications Available" Gen 1 and Gen 2 are different.

Thanks,

This might be common knowledge but I didn't know it ten years ago when I put a RSB on my MX-6:

Always install sway bars with load on the back wheels. Use Rhino Ramps or something. I did it without load a long time ago and my shit clunked over every bump. Did it with the back wheels compressed after I couldn't take it any more and never a peep.

Yes changing the mounting location is how it's adjusted. Center hole for daily driving. Having just the rear does not make it funny at all, this is not true. No plans for a front at the moment.

This may just be me but this looks just like Corksport's and Tripoints. What makes this different than those besides the 15$ difference in price?

Look at the ends of the CS bar and the TP; mine are capped and welded all the way around. The TP bar is not capped or welded all the way around that I can see and the CS has no caps. I use hardened locating collars. The TP collars appear to be either aluminum or regular steel. And my price is more like $30 less after you factor in shipping which I include.

Thanks,
Jamie

yea I thought out of the 3 settings the middle one was for DD which is how I would use this. I might have to update my holiday list for the parents because I know this is a big plus to have on our speed 3's.

^+1 Idk why I dont have a thanks button for the info stated above but thanks for the added information on the differences.

Can you confirm what Aetherfury said about installing with load on it? The place I was gonna get it put it on I know would lift the car up and do it and that sounds like not the best way to have it installed from what he stated.

Can you put the installation instructions up on your site, or here? I'm curious as to how difficult the install is.

Aetherfury is correct in his method of installation however if you get everything tight and use the loctite that is provided you should not have any clunking.

I'm completing them now so I'll post them as soon as I can. The install is very easy and can be done by a cave man in 30 minutes.

Thanks,
Jamie

He's right, the install is very fast and easy. It literally only takes half an hour.. just make sure you're on ramps or something or else it will most likely clunk..

But I would have to disagree with you Jamie on how having just the RSB makes the car feel funny.. It'll rotate around corners fine and dandy but when you approach a 25mph curve at 60.. just having a RSB throws you all off. I considered just having a RSB and selling my FSB due to the huge PITA it is to get it installed, but I just couldn't do it because I thoroughly enjoy curving dangerously fast.. threw on the FSB and things were great. The front in my mind really helps with the entire car's body roll, stability on the highway at 100+mph was greatly improved as well after adding on the FSB.

I do wish though.. I had waited and gotten Jamie's RSB here.. and then just went with a Hotchkis front but eh.. too late now haha.

They should be available for purchase the weekend of the 4th and shipping out on the 6th. Sorry but I don't like taking peoples money (pre-orders) before I'm done. I've read too many horror stories about missed deadlines. I'm just as excited about these as you are so if you can wait it'll be worth it.

Thanks,
Jamie

yea now after looking at the 3+ options for RSB's out there I am def gonna pick one of these up for the holidays. I will have to see how easy it is for me to get under the car since I dont have ramps currently or I will make sure where I get it installed they will not use the lift to install it since they work on Porsches and audi's all day.

I think the only gen 2 specific FSB in the pipeline is CS. I will absolutely want a FSB to install at the same time, but I will get JB's RSB over the CS piece just because it looks like it's made better.

The CS RSB advertised settings are:
20% stiffer - 575lbs.
45% stiffer - 695lbs.
80% stiffer - 862lbs.

If they build a FSB tuned to match that, are those settings close enough to work with your RSB, Jamie?

For the type of driving these car are capable of I would say yes. With that said, I did a 2.5 mile road course with my RSB and the stock FSB and for me it was great.

Thanks,
Jamie

I installed my RSB without ramps or a lift. I just wedged my ass under the back end (stock suspension) and did it in my apartment parking lot. It wasn't the easiest thing in the world, but definitely not hard.

I was gonna mention that you can do the removal and install on stands then tighten the end links on the ground. I just squeezed under mine and its' easy to get to them.

Thanks,
Jamie

Hey James, looks like there's some ms6 owners who are interested in you making a ms6 rsb.

Did you have plans for making one/need a stocker to base your measurements?

What's wrong with the Whiteline RSB for the MS6? I don't think I could touch that price.

Nothing wrong with it at all. Would yours be easier to install? Probably not, eh?

Looks like a great built and nic elooking bar. BUT with 3 holes you actually get 5 adjustments to play with. BUT on the fact of being on ramps to bolt up bar, been taught by race car builders dont have to.

IF i was in the market for a bar, Definatly one i would get.
