Default New JBR Product Suggestions

@jbarone,

I thought of something else that could improve the spongy shift mechanism these cars have. Improved shift gates.
While replacing a seal on my transmission, I had my shift linkage out of the transmission. This little cast piece is the stock shift gate. It is bolted to the shift mechanism and a pin which is threaded into the trans case rides in these slots.
Could this little piece be redesigned to better guide the mechanism between gears?

My Guess is that this piece is the same on Speed6, Gen Won and Gen Poo, but I do not know for sure. Mine is a Gen Won ('07).

Jason

Not thread jacking but adding to, how about a RSB for the speed 6 and what about a JBR diff mount for speed 6?

Hmmmm.... how about...

Adjustable sway bar links
Subframe connectors
Chassis/strut braces (if subframe connectors are out, the interest was proven in that haltech group buy thread that didn't go through)
Tr8 core with JBR fmic pipes (and that sexy thermal paint on the cold pipe)
JBR catback
Brake and clutch ducts (for the autoX guys)
Edit: or a JBR crashbar to fit a bigger FMIC and make the car a ramming tank!!

Just to name a few...

What's the point? There's plenty on the market just spray paint JBR on one. The transmission could definitely use some more aftermarket support.

+1 for wipder delete plug!!

One made out of real glass like this here:

Also a small battery box cover would be nice, because its not street legal to have an open positiv battery connector in Europe. Also it would look much better.

I like and support op's idea. This is something that may require, lots of resourses though, i am not sure. **joint venture**

The other potential products are always a good idea, but honestly this clutzy transmission is a pain in the ass and id like it fixed.

It would be the only on the market too and obvisously desireable with a moderate price tag.

Exhaust and intercooler crap is all over the market and it does the same thing. Not much profit to be had i would think.

I have one here. It fits in the glass, but you have to enlarge the hole in the metal behind the glas. I don't want to do this.

I suggest a mounting plate for us that wants to run water meth and does not have the time to make one, and a hose that comes off the fmic into the tb with a port for water meth injection

+1 for a JBR FMIC mandrel bent piping kit (wrinkle black complete with welded mounting brackets for stability. With TR8 core and upgraded crash bar it. Put that together for $800 and you have fried gold.
