Do these brackets hold the intercooler vertical (as in parallel with the radiator)? Also, do you have a side profile shot of the bracket/intercooler mounted? I'm curious about the distance between radiator and intercooler and how much space there is. This is in relation to the Gen1 that you have pictured. Thanks!

Yes, perfectly centered and parallel. There is 1.5" of space between the the back of the intercooler and the radiator.

Here are a few and steps 16 and 20 of the installation instructions also show very good side shots.

Yes, I see no reason why they shouldn't. I believe @Raider; has them installed with a kit similar to the CX Racing piping kit.

I actually have The grandfather of CX Racing's piping. Protege Garage Version 1. Yes, the one that was so tough it took 7 hours and has .25mm play and was revised 4 times before CX knocked it off. PS cooler was still mounted behind the core, so I used the 2 mounting brackets only, and it works perfect with a TR8 core. Instructions were spot on, but needing the OEM bolts that I removed 7 years ago for the 2 that held the top part of all that bracket plastic crap required an attic run. For any first timer, bolts would be there still.

Lots happy with the bracket quality.

I also want to run the power steering cooler lines behind the intercooler. Glad to know that it can still be done and there's room. I prefer only the intercooler to be visible.

Just expect to be your own fabricator, expect to mess with the Power Steering crap for hours. Expect zip ties, anger, frustration, and swearing. Blood will be lost. Friendships tested. But you can get it to work. Seriously, I wish I could afford a better piping kit this year. do not like this one, it is too tight to everything. But the core and brackets are perfect.
