| Not Ranked : 0 score Installed this sway bar this weekend. Wasn't too bad unless you didn't have some set backs as me. Set back #1 : wrong direction the bar itself was put into the car. I was so excited to get the bar out of the car that I didn't notice how the bar was facing. Make sure bar ends where endlinks attached to face downward. (I put the bar in backwards, had to remove once more, than insert it back into the car. Jack stand space was a hard to work with) Set back #2 : I ensure I centered the whole bar but the end of it were rubbing against the tire rod on passenger side. You can see the rubbing line where I'm pointing. I pushed the bar as back as i can with the adjustable bracket. I decided to shave some of the tip of the sway bar. End result left a good 1/2 in away from the tire rod with no rubbing. Performance is good but nothing compared to the rear sway bar JBR provided. I place end links into the stiffest position. I'm going to put the rears on stiffest as well. Let see how this works out with autocross next weekend. Last edited by foodtime; 08-17-2014 at 08:13 PM. |
