(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Nope, the parts can barley be seen.
There is no notch and the plate will not come loose. Simply tighten and torque the mounting bracket as indicated in the installation instructions. Last edited by JBR; 12-24-2014 at 09:23 AM. Reason: MSF Database - Automerged Doublepost

| Not Ranked : 0 score I don't need instructions on how to install the thing I just want to take a closer look on how the frame is attached to the rod. Is there a notch that keeps the frame level or just held in place by the bolt and tightened down? I don't want the bolt to possibly work itself loose then the plate be crooked. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I'm digging this design. Looks great and priced right. Now I need to get rid of the 4 holes from the front plate mount.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Finally installed the toe plate. Initially, I could not get the JBR bracket to screw into the tow hook hole. Mine was rusty as all hell. I ended up using the OEM tow hook and blaster to clean the hole out. Definitely, don't want to force the aluminum screw in. JBR install was then a breeze. Great product and super fast shipping. Thanks mr. barone.

Also, great idea using the OEM tow hook to chase the threads. I updated the installation instructions with your idea. Thanks!! I'm sure this will help many.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Awesome. I was convinced I ordered the wrong plate or the threads were off. I was only able to get the jbr bracket threaded 1 turn and it stopped. Now I wish I would have ordered another jbr plate frame for the front. Sent from my iPhone using sausage fingers
