The JBR TRU-3.0 & 3.5 Wide Path Full Aluminum Intake Systems allow you to have your cake and eat it too!!



They both feature a full 3” or 3.5” Inside Diameter Billet Aluminum MAF housing with an OEM like air straighteners. They also feature the ability to change the turbo side coupler to accommodate every size turbo inlet ranging from the stock turbo all the way up to a 4” inlet. So no matter what stage you are with your build, JBR has the intake to fit your needs. Oh, and then there’s the sound! The sound that only a full aluminum intake makes when the turbo spools up, it's also included!!

Every TRU-3.0 & 3.5 MAF housing has been machined from 6061-T6 to tolerances of +/-.001 and include a factory style air straightener for the most accurate signal to the MAF sensor. The air straightener is integrated in to the wall of the housing eliminating any reduction in ID like those that use honeycomb straighteners. There’s also no way for the straighener to come loose and be sucked in to the turbo like those that use pressed in blades.

Our MAF housings are the lightest in the industry weighing in at only 9.1oz. The lighter housing significantly reduces heat soak, sheds heat quicker which lowers intake temperatures creating more power. Each MAF housing is beautifully anodized for a smooth, long lasting finish resistant to corrosion, even when subjected to the harshest environmental conditions.



All Tru- 3.0 & 3.5 Wide Path Intakes include a 3.25” or 3.75” Dry-Flow air filter. JBR Dry Flow air filters flow 200% more air than the factory filter while providing superior engine protection. It uses both depth loading, capable of removing extremely fine particles (down to < 0.1 micron), and structural screen wire to enhance airflow capabilities. This design results in a performance air filter capable of increasing horsepower and torque! The three-dimensional synthetic filtering medium is washable and requires no oiling for years of trouble free service.

Just got the intake in the mail. Top notch quality. Much better than my cpe fmic top pipe that i test fitted a coupler on and then pulled the coupler off and the black powdercoat already started flaking off the edge.. vent vent fuck..

I have also received my intake about a week ago, due to my poor ability to properly measure things, had to pull off the intake and swap back to my old one until my new ECU relocation comes in. Very impressed with the quality of the intake. Everything fit perfectly in when I first installed it. Welds looked good, everything arrived nicely packaged with no evidence of mishandling or anything. Once again, a very happy JBR customer! Will update once I get everything in!

@jbarone; Does the 3.5 intake fits with the bnr s3 and the stock battery box ? I know you said it only requires to relocate the ecu but since the bnr pushes the intake closer to the battery box than stock turbo i have to ask.

From what we've been told yes it does fit fine. The turbo inlet on the BNR is not much further towards the driver's side than the KO4 and, there's a fair amount of room left after the ECU has been relocated.

I got mine, but I'm bummed about the advertisement versus availability.

There was no choice for the red or blue filters, and when requested- there was no acknowledgement, only a black shipped. They also show each set with a replacement IC hose- also not included.
Oh well.

Otherwise everything else is fantastic in regards to quality and fitment!

Just installed my 3.5 aluminum and it feels/sound amazing. The spool sounds like an airplane taking off and I'm only on the k04. Cant wait to test this out with some corn and meth. The fit was awesome too thank you!

In addition i have an e85 map just ordered today through stratafied. Will report back the power increase by coupling the two together.

THE E85 tune kicks ass with the new intake! Its been lightly raining and I cant even log a run because I cant keep traction at WOT. As soon as it drys out I will make a run and post a vdyno. Need moar rubber on the road

You can slot the mounting holes for the battery box if you haven't already. It will give you a good 5-6mm more space there. I did the same thing when I installed my HTP 3 inch.

It really doesn't look too bad. The fit is tighter on some cars than it is on others. The reason is because there's almost an inch of side to side play in the upper motor mounts. So, depending on exactly where the motor is bolted down in the car, from the factory or after the mounts have been replaced, will determine how tight the fit is. Some cars have about 3/16" to an 1/4" of space and some butt right up to the ECU like in your case. As mentioned, ovaling out the holes in the batter box will get you the added room you need.
