Why I dislike my JBR Chromoly 88 Duro RMM

Because after 500 miles, the vibes are gone and it doesn't feel like a race car. Must be time to look at finishing off the trilogy! Whoever complains about the 88 duro vibes is silly.

IF you are not getting any vibes now, you should go back and re torque the mount (75-80 LBS). Chances are the mount came somewhat loose. This happened to mine. Bam Vibes were back and are still there!

It is always good practice to recheck aftermarket installation of parts and I believe the directions state to check the mount after some driving to ensure the mount remained tight.

The mounts Resonance Frequency is about 1500 rpm.

I wish Jamie would make a sticker like the wing sticker but not as big. Like a foot long or something. Anyway. I'm getting coilovers with my tax return, but the next mod after that is definately gonna be the JBR trilogy. Probably 88RMM and 80 on the other 2. Love his products.

Let me say, there are still vibes, just much calmer than initial install (As Jamie says it should be from break in). I just loved the initial feel for the first 100 miles. I torqued it to 70 ft-lbs (per directions) with red loc-tite. When I go to my friends in a few weeks to do my catback, I'll recheck. They have a 12 ton car lift which makes my back happy. Engine and shifts still feel super tight. It's the shit.

I only have the chrome molly. But I drove @cdmarch; car today who just installed the JBR trilogy and I am in love. I think I might be purchasing a PMM and TMM very soon.

I love the vibes. And the improvement in shifting is probably the best part.

However, had you made a new thread titled "just bought jbr pmm and tmm and can't wait for the results" then youd be doing a favor by creating new content that will bring in the views. I do Jamie favors all the time outside of this though. He is one of two companies I suggest to people for their ms3/6 needs. ;-)

I just installed the passenger/tranny mounts. It solidified everything. The vibrations are there but not bad. The cabin noise has increased. I can really hear the transmission (too bad it doesn't sound like Foust's Fiesta). The soft OEM mounts really absorb the vibes and the sound. My wife didn't like the ride before, and she will hate it now

Im pretty upset too. Ive put about 2k miles on my mount and it seems like the vibes are almost gone. So I got under the car because I was thinking the bolts might be a little loose. Nope.

Time to get fully mounted
