Default ATP improved their turbos IWG??

i sent a email to ATP asking about their issues on their IWG of their turbos. and they said that the ones sold from the begining of this year has the IWG ported, and the issue with creep is no longer.
i got my gt3071 at the begining of this year so im wondering if mine is ported or not.

could anyone with a never turbo at their hands post some pics of their IWG for comparison with the old ones?

does anyone run a new IWG 3071 without any creep issues here? or is it still an unfixed issue?

thanks for the help in advance.

i'm very interested in this bit of news.

i really don't want to go ewg due to the fact that i would have to buy a whole new turbo mani and deal with the noise issue of the ewg vta.

this car is my daily driver and i don't need to be constantly harassed by the cops about the exhaust note being "too loud".

yes, i could have the dump tube welded into the exhaust, but that's just one more hassle.

so, if atp really fixed this issue... i would be as happy as a pig in shit.

why don't you send a pic of yours to ATP instead and get it straight from the horses' mouth?

what about real experince, anyone running their "new" GT IWG without any issues.

my main question here is, was the "fix" actually fixing the creep issue?

i would like to find this out to see if i need to buy a new exhaust housing, manifold and EWG system for the turbo

I ran a ewg with the 3076 and it most def was not loud at all. Plus you have to remember when the ewg opens your at full throttle any ways so your exahust is what is going to get you pulled over not the dinky 1 in tube venting to atomsphere. remember it only dumps excess boost once ther is enought to push the actuator all the way open.
another thing we all did back in the begining was use a dremmel to take out material in the exhuast housing. that pretty much fixed all the issue with the iwg

Have not seen any definitive answer to this.. No one who had an old one...and had boost creep has gotten a new one and posted up how it's all fixed now or still creeps etc..... or at least no one who has done this has posted up results.

There were guys who manually enlarged, dremmeled, whatever else to their ATP turbo and never had creep issues, so if I had to guess, you'd probably be fine on one of their "new" turbos, it must not have really been that much work that needed to be done to avoid creep
