Default BT and tuning

I have been searching, and with no success been able to find anyone successfully tuning boost with the AP and the iwg.

I have the grimspeed and its not working. I plan on getting a protune after i finish the build, but i want to tune the boost. I would prefer to stay away from a mbc if at all possible. I have considered ewg if there is a way to tune for it via the AP.

Also is any company selling a ewg mani, i dont want to change my dp or my turbo. I have the old school Atp3071.

i did see one thread about perrin ebc being tuned with the ap but never any results on 247 or 6club i think.

I think with all the new bt guys out there one thread on successful boost control methods could be helpful!

BIG UPDATE 6/9/11

Ok went buy the shop today. We finally got the motor pulled out only to find something ejected from the block into the transfer case. Luckly i happen to have a spare transfer case laying around.

As for the turbo i will be using a garrett gt35r .82ar. It is t3 flanged and going to v-band dp now. Also picked up a tial mv-s 38mm wastegate. The block is .20 over with wiesco and pauter rods. The head has been ported slightly. Looking for big number when ever i get this guy running with a PERM tune on it.

I still need to pick up a 3.5 maf housing and a meth kit. Here are a few pictures of the mess. The final product will be powder coated and the FMIC redone.

i think the only ewg mani right now is the steedspeed. and then cp-e when they release it.

I would contact Leen (Steedspeed), he can make u any combination of flanges with EWG or IWG (t3, stock, t4, angled t3 ect)

If I were to switch out my PG mani it would def be for a SteedSpeed..... Great Quality

If your old school 3071 is the pre-ported ATP version, then no tuning will help with the boost creep issues...

However, you can easily tune the Grimspeed EBCS with AP. Mine works just fine in 3-port intercept configuration.

Just order Devils own stage 2 kit, DCR vvt, and a new 3.5 maf. Thanks DJ for the website to get that 3.5 housing. maybe another week or so and this bad boy will be up and running.

Well its ben a minute but the PG mani is now flanged for t3 and ewg. here are a few tasty pictures.

The motor is now built and back in the car. I went .20 over with carillo rods and wiesco pistons.

Decided on the AEM meth kit... more to come soon

Damn I wish you woulda went top mount, looks nice. did you get a DJ base map for the bigger housing? my car wouldnt start at all without it?

Yea i been working with @djuosnteisn on the maps. Here are a few pictures of my Blow Thru maf housing with a treadstone honey comb added in.

Why go top mount? My 35r fits happy were its at and i have instant spool.
