(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  Cospeed6 Goes Big Turbo "Yes this is really happening" this is what I have to keep telling myself as I have been without my car for three weeks now. I never thought that I would go BT on this car, but a few things happened that made this possible. I am beyond ecstatic that this is really happening.  The main reason I was able to was because my turbo was a victim of the smokey turbo, luckily I had an extended warranty on my car which covered some of the costs associated with this build. The warranty company required the car to be torn down and gone through to determine the cause of failure before they would approve the claim.  I was able to find a great local mechanic who I felt very comfortable with as he is the one who built @tbot;'s motor. I would like to thank @JacksonMS30; @JP@edgeautosport.com; and @eric@edgeautosport; for all of their help throughout this process. I was a PITA at times I'm sure, but thank you guys for all of your help! Now to the good stuff! ATP GTX3071r with EWG hot side with stock flange style CPE BT inlet with sock sized MAF Hallman Pro RX MBC for ease of tuning, may go with an EBCS down the road CX-racing fmic found locally brand new and I couldn't pass it up thanks @Regulator; COBB SRI Ebay 3" V-band DP with adapter Autotech HPFP internals Denso ITV22's Blitz TT (Semi-unnecessary but I'd like to keep this turbo for a long time!) I should be getting my car back tomorrow, I was supposed to get it back on friday but ATP neglected to put studs on the hot side of the turbo  , so it was just another set back.Pictures and all of that fun stuff to come! | Not Ranked : 0 score Dude congrats man!!! Bob is an amazing guy and Jamie is as well (the amazing part, not the guy part). They WILL treat you right. I was very hesitant in having anyone work on my car, but when I talked to him on the phone the first time, not only was he very straight forward and honest with me, but he made it clear that he was very intelligent and knew what he was talking about. On top of that he had a 9 second eclipse and 10 second supra in the shop that he had built the motors when I dropped my car off, that kinda more or less sealed the deal haha. That, and now they're right next door to Edge...can't beat that at all!!! You're in good hands man!!! COspeed6 likes this.
