It took a 2-3 hours to pull the motor after all the electrical crap was disconnected, putting it in was about the same. Honestly though a lot of this was done over the course of 7 months so very hard to say time wise like that. If you have a full month of full days then you might be able to do it in 2-3 weeks with machining of the block and all.

Cleaned up the wiring thanks to @KotzurRacing; and getting ready for some port injection in the tune! Looks a lot nicer now.

Can anyone confirm the wiring of the split injection controller for the MS6 for me? I tapped the middle wire of the MAF sensor for the green(MAF) wire on the controller, the red power wire from the controller I did an add a fuse to the Eng Bar in the fuse box, and the ground I put to the top of the HPFP. As for the yellow ones, we found the coil wires that did not have a common wire with the other coils, which may be where the problem is as I have no instruction on which wires to tap. @SPEEDPERF6RMANC3; would you be able to give some input? I know yall have done a few 6s with this kit.

What should the condition for the power be? And there's got to be a better ground than that.

@KotzurRacing; fab'd up a 4in for me on sunday though, and changed a bad wheel bearing.
I'm now getting a almost whining sound coming from the front suspension when turning left(driver side), only while moving, not while stopped. Gotta figure out what that is next.
Got a set of brembos on the way for the front and will be ordering coilovers next paycheck, then get some new bushings and what not and do some maintenance for her.
But yeah, should be getting a new map for the 4in soon and do some maf cals and then get back to port injection and then e85.
I learned that on the first map of port injection I can get some good wheel spin in the rain and get pretty damn sideways in the corners haha..

Just wait for when we're 30+ PSI deep.

You'll quickly find out that an MS6 becomes a F-Body Camaro LOL

just out of curiosity, since you seem to be a machinist. Is there a specific spot where you pin the cams? do you have to time them first so you know the links and teeth line up and them drill them? or just say screw it and drill a hole?

Every set is different. Must set timing first. We used a set of allen headed bolts, torqued them and then drilled through the sprocket and cam. Intake cam is a different story. It has four holes for the vvt and the last thing you want to do is drill one of them.

yes yes and yes it is simply, just take note of the four holes in the intake cam and drill between them. We got it right the first time we had every done any(dereks cams being the first set). speedperformance said they have some kind of JIG but not really sure what that means if all the car set up differently.

I wonder if my wife will let me do this to her MS6 one day. Can I claim better gas mileage?

On a serious note: this is a damn awesome build. Good luck, @derek13p;. Please tell me you are going to air brush either a Unicorn or Chuck Norris on the hood.

Got another speed6 so that's taken up a bit more of my time and money, but the red one will definitely continue to become more of a beast!
It put a 5 car whoopin on an evo 9 the other day going to cars and coffee. That was just 2nd and 3rd gear too

@derek13p; Where'd you buy the kit to pin your cams?

Also, anything new? Sticking with the t3 flange when you change turbos?

No kit used. I bought some dowel pins and set the timing on the motor, then installed some Allen head bolt in the cams. Then removed the cams from the motor, built a jig for my drill press and went to town. Was way easier then I thought it would be. Took about 5 mins to drill both cams, just marked the vvt holes in the cam first so that we didn't drill into them.

Yeah, upgraded in tanks. Got the sp63 kit. I think I show it somewhere in this thread maybe, I forgot.
Edit: Post 66 on 2nd page is where it shows it.
Btw, you have the longest signature I've ever seen lol
