yeah, I'm off the turbo boost source . It's the closest thing to it to run the boost reference to it so I have less delay because of the length of the line. It's pretty big , It's a 60mm.

so you don't think it delays your boost control any?

I mean, yes the DP is just right below the turbo but I was concerned that the extra boost line might delay boost controller reaction enough to cause oscillation.

no?

I haven't experienced any but I haven't turned the boost up. If it does delay it I will tap the boost pipe . I really don't have any intercooler pipe . That is also right there

Grimspeed, 3 port. It's seems ok at 15psi , but I don't know how it'll react at real boost levels. I'm going to start the tune this weekend. I'd like to run 22psi and go up to 28 or 30 if it'll stay together on a 6262. It's pretty big.

Looks like things are coming together nicely for your car. When we are both up and running full, we need to get our cars together for breeding purposes. A dark garage, a little meth, some E85 and some mood music.

Getting close to my 20 PSI targets using the Grimspeed 3 port. Set up so the bottom of the ewg sees boost all the time and the top is open to atmosphere when the solenoid is at rest and getting boost when the solenoid is energized. Takes a lot of duty cycle to get it spooled (currently have 98% all the way to the 3500 column and may need to push that even more) but control once spooled is looking to be pretty good.

I def think they need to mate. I heard your car is a missile. I can't wait to finish mine and meet up and race. 2 big turbo speed3's racing = sex.

Kev and Dano.. do your Hawk HP plus pads squeek as much as mine?

sometimes as bad as a city bus with old brakes.

they do STOP on a cunt hair but everyday driving tends to be a little annoying if the radio is off.

kmac and I both have the same rotors and pads + brake lines but my brake lines are not installed yet. I expect even harder and more consistant braking when the lines are installed.

Kevin, who helped you with bleeding the lines after installation?

and I'll stop by your place right after work today, around 5 pm.. txt me if you're going to be home.

This, IMO, is what's REALLY going to help us in combatting lag, careful tuning of WGDC using EBCS on big turbos. MBC's are great, but this is the proper way to make a broad, flat powerband with a big turbo so that boost isn't an on/off switch.

My squeak too, but that's a characteristic of the material. I'm fine with it as long as they stop like a mofo.

Agreed, tuning with the Grimspeed is going to be very beneficial and when they release the rescale from Cobb for fuel pressure we are set.

I love my grimm... I had both it and a Hallman Pro MBC and I def prefer the Grimmspeed 3 port.

Hallman is sitting right here on my desk holding down paper LOL

On my way home now , going to start tuning when I get home. I'm going 65 psi and 42 deg of timing at 15.6 afr . I think It's a good starting point. I should be fine.

That 15.6 AFR should get you all the injector you need even at stock fuelpressures.

I'm thinking 65psi is pushing it, start out with 40 and work your way up.

I really haven't had much time. I'm super busy the only thing I've done is dial in the maf , do some cam timing, ign timing I'm only running 8 deg and boost is set at 12 to 13 on spring pressure . At spring pressure it still pulls nice . I'll have the weekend free so I can tune it. I love the wastegate I added pre cat it works great. Just as I wanted. My bats with the l/a at cruise r 10 to 15 deg higher than iat . As soon as I get on it its iat or lower. I need to vent the hood for the iat to get them down. Ricer or not it has to be done to get air flow to the filter.

venting the hood might disrupt the natural flow of air through the engine bay though, be careful.

I finally got some tuning in this week and I was running no meth , ar 17 psi at 6500 I'm out of inj. The car wants to keep pulling but I don't have the fuel. With the new atr I'm going to install the sensor and try to get the pressure up to 2100 or 2200 with the new relief valve. I should be good after that. I'll also be tuning the meth this week as well. At 17 psi the car is a monster.

I was hoping you would update after the weekend. Post some logs up. I want to see what this monster is doing. Also, what AFR are you at when you are running out? Hopefully conseratively rich so you can bump it up a little and gain some headroom there too.
