So I got BT from Eric@edgeautosport and finally got it completely installed, now Ill be doing some tuning with @socks and dialing this thing down. Sounds beefy as hell and Im only running spring pressure and babying it until I get GS in next week and finish tune, thanks @eric@edgeautosport @JP@edgeautosport and @socks

will post more info as logs get done on coming days.

haha the reason i ask is because ive had BT builds go smooth and others just be absolutely horrible.

But with the EWG you should be fine, the main problems ive had with the drop in kits is the shitty ATP IWG.

So Ill be truthful it was pain in the ass due to never done a turbo swap before, I got cuts, bumps, slice and stab more than the wanted share. I was very cautious I might say, deconstruction took me about three hours everything that needed to be out was out, then the thinking mode and the oh shit mode kick in, but I succeeded, had to stop on thursday to get to work next day, then I got back on it on Friday @12pm and had to stop @4pm, cause I had a dinner to go with me 7year old daughter, then Saturday came around and start it around 10am until 9pm but I made sure everything was button up properly, so far so good already put like 100 miles on it and seems to be fine. If you doing this there is some things that would drive you insane make sure you have help or like me down time to step away and get some guidance.

Yeah Eric it was a PITA, I'll say the single one thing that took me way too much time was the EWG, now the sounds it makes when it gets going is crazy awesome, lol, put a smile on the wife face so that is always a plus. The other thing was I connected the oil return line before hooking the clamp to the hot side, holy shit I was mad when I try to slide that clamp and it spoke to me, hey idiot I was supposed to be in first, lol. The line was in contact on the hose compresing nut thingy so I had to file that down to be able to make the line sit flush on the gasket on the turbo to make a good seal. Not bitching, just suggesting pointers for your customers. But like I say before top notch customer service even when I call late at night and you suckers were drunk, lol. Next will be the GS and do some dial in.

Here is a datalog attempt for the MAF cal, not an easy thing to do it wants to go all out, lol

By no means am I an expert, but some things i found to make my maf cal easier is to
Increase the closed loop to open loop delay, and drop your WGDC% really low.

of course this is just temporary, and just to get an accurate and high g/s.

So after much issues with the EWG trying to figured out why this thing was spiking me up to 23psi from the hole, @socks had me double check the colors that I had for the spring pressure of 15.95 which that is what I set to using an MV-R chart BUT I HAVE an MV-S EWG so when you use the chart of an MV-R to set an MV-S the springs and the colors are the same but the pressure results on each one are different, example colors gold, grey and beige on an MV-R is 15.95 on a MV-S = 21.75 or 1.5 bar, so my stupidity your note, and your laugh! Thanks @socks for your patience and understanding LOL

Ewg holding very nicely, I get my BT today finally!. Also you going to use ebcs or mbc?

Also you wanted 15psi for spring pressure but are running 20 did you get a different spring combo?

Ill be running an ebcs and on the springs since I had to take it apart last night for setting the correct springs, I installed the grey and maroon for 17.40 and the boost increase we are expeculating that it might be due to the extra elbow I had to installed between hot housing and ewg. Is good to know that is doing that now we can take that in account on the tune side.
