yea i pulled the trigger on a 3076 yesterday.

Not I. Not yet, anyway. There's way too much I need to take care of before I do that. Plus, I have too many projects going on at the moment, so I've gotten pretty behind. Ah well. I have a t4 at the house, but I'm not sure I want to install it. I'm thinking a 3076 would be more ideal, unless I keep the k04 and go sequential, but I doubt there's enough space for that in the engine bay. Haha!!

So I bought a second Grimmspeed ebcs from Maperformance, cause still waiting for more than two weeks now from first vendor, but is cool, shit happens. I got it overnight at the house, now I need the one and only good set up there is for a EWG setup, pics if you have them or a good solid how to. I look around and I have seen 20,000,000,000 different setup, maybe I exaggerated a little but you get my point thanks gent's.

I am assuming you are going to run it in 3 port mode?

The best way is to take the hose that you have running
from your intercooler pipe (the one that is running to your
wastegate actuator right now,) and run that to the No. 3 on the Grimmspeed.
You will need a reducer and a 1/8" ID vaccum hose to connect to the GS EBCS.

Now run 1/8" Vaccum hose (use another reducer to go back to 5/16" ID) from
No. 2 back to your wastegate actuator (should be the nipple closest to the turbo.)

Run vaccum hose (5/16" ID) from the second nipple (wastegate return) back to
your turbo inlet pipe. You will need a T-connector.
The top of the "T" will have one end coming from your wastegate return,
the other end goes to the No. 1 on the GS EBCS. The bottom of the "T" goes to your TIP.

GS recommends a 30% reduction in WGDC if you are using it in 3 port mode.

P.S. - I have all the connectors and should have vaccum tubing, and
I'd be willing to help you set it up, no problem.

Oddly enough, I'm in socal right now. I could probably drop in and check it out if my dad improves enough that I don't need to worry about him so much. Still, that's on a MS6, and I have a MS3, so some differences will abound.

So I found out yesterday that my dump tube is on need of a tune, LOL, it rip off the front part of the insulation on the car LOL!!!

You tell 'em! Yeah I'm thinking that insulation is just for show anyway. I have seen so many pictures of people sporting a big ugly tan patch of foam where the tin foil peeled off. No worries, right?

Tuning has started with the pioneer of the 400hp on the Gen1 @socks , wont reach the final results today due to running the Dragon Tomorrow, but then again Im only running the OEM MAF so still limited. Next week I might hook up the new map sensor, still debating on it, or just swapping to BIG MAF.

@bmylez I have not installed it yet I am waiting on a race built manifold
To install it at the same time. I will probably make a new thread for my build once I get it tuned and dynoed.

On the matter at hand, been doing some tuning with @socks and the latest and greatest is the air flow is getting restricted because I havent ported and still have my vtcs with rod and butterflies in it and stock exhaust mani, so yeah yeah I know I just been lazy. I actually mentioned this to @StayBroke but when I did my BT build, my whole reasoning was to not tackle everything at the same time that way if a problem came up it was restricted to the BT install part of it, now that is working and went to the Dragon once I think is safe to say that I can tackle the IM and maybe I can get my hand on a Exhaust Mani too AND a big MAF, so there is my next couple of thing to do. But yes is running good just limited.

Love it! I think everyone has a different opinion like how fast or slow spools up but is all a matter of opinions at the end is yours to have. I can give away the low end personally and be happy with the longer top end power band, for example Manny Run - YouTube

What makes you think you're being restricted by the IM and vtcs. I'm still stock on that end and flowing awesome for 22.5psi. 406 VD @ 1.01.

well, no, we could get it up to 22, but the problem is its not actually increasing airflow. we're pretty much to the point where any changes dont actually effect much.

Well, its not the maf limiting him, but when he finds out what is, the maf will peg out.

hes at 4.7-4.8v on the stock maf whether hes at 18 or 22psi.

so when he cracks the flow open, im sure he'll be at 4.7v at 18 (or less), and pegging 5.0v and cutting at 22

Manny, you must Brake Boost!!!!!! If you bb'd that would have been a completely different run and by that I mean you would have never fallen back, just taken off.

To tell you the truth I just learned about brake boosting yesterday LOL, next time I just might hire stick to do the driving lol, is my DD so I do shift gears so slow I probably can do it without a clutch. One of this day Ill become proficient at it, have to learn the new powerband all over, oh well. You should see me trying to take off from the hole, 1st and 2nd are even shorter for me redline comes in so fast holy crap especially if tires come loose, like I said, learning, if you grandpa's feel like giving me a lesson let me know Am all about it.

So I found a CPE Big MAF intake at the @RPMstore, should be here this week, Ill be doing the IM PNP, 3 Bar MAP sensor and the OCC this Saturday.

i probably need to change my coming soon sig cause i ran into some financial diffulculties recently so my big turbo build is on the back burner. i was gonna go with the steedspeed only because i heard good things about it.
