no, i bought a stiffer set of springs earlier that put me at 22-23 just on spring and still got the erratic issues just the same as with a MBC. i put the softer springs back in after figuring it wasnt the MBC.
so this means when i hit 22 psi on spring or MBC i get the erratic surging.

id really like to figure the problem rather than work around it. im not sure it is surge anymore. i looked and listened to several u tube videos on compressor sure and the sound i hear on the vids sound nothing like my issue.
im just kinda clueless were to look.

i just remembered i did get a code, then i cleared it and it hasent come back. i havent looked it up yet.
PO335 CKP sensor problem
i been praying for a code to tell me wtf the problem is LOL. not sure what sensor this is or does yet.

ok its the cam crank sensor, im going to take car to work again today and see if the code comes back. any thoughts?

p0335 is just crank position sensor. I used to get that if I tried adjusting my MAF cal too far. I had three things cause it. First was a bad MAF, second was a replacement MAF from autozone because they think the regular MAF works on our cars. Both eventually burned up and were out of the equation. Lastly, was an intake leak that I couldn't find and tried cal'ing around. Are you running a Mazda MAF or a replacement?

I got the same code when I first built
My engine, it was because I used a replacement maf and some metal shavings from my engine break in where stuck to the bottom of my cam position sensor because its magnetized.

with my new upgrades seems ill have to re calibrate the MAF. ill have to look back and remember how to.

100% normal and designed in to the system. Garrett decided not to put an o-ring there.

Skip right past it as it's a non-issue. We stand behind it 100%.

this is from atp turbo. i asked if it is normal to leak a small amount around comp housing during a boost leak test on the system. i thought id share this info.
id did perform yet another boost leak test and everything is tight. i did have a couple bubbles coming from the egr flange. snugged the bolts and went away.

ok, we looked at and made minor changes to my maf cal. and i logged short term trims during logs and we seen a spot under very lite throttle were stft was +25.

after changes, i started to notice alot more than befor under very light throttle ( just enough to maintain speed) i was getting some jerking around and was looking at stft and they are bouncing around everywere. if i give it just a little more gas everything zeros out. and it zeros out from there on up. only getting this a very lite throttle.

befpr changes i would VERY rare get a jerk or two under light throttle, i thought mabey it was my foot jerking a lil. but after looking at maf cal logs and after changes im getting it all the time. i do have a log.
and also feels like the stutter i was/ am getting under my WOT pulls, when i was at 20-21 psi. i called it stutter then. so im hoping they are related

I dont think this is actually an issue with the MAF calibration. There is no correlation between STFTs and the maf voltage.

Beyond the fact that his cal is adding a lot of fuel over the whole range if I'm reading your axes correct?

Well it is always positive, but varies from close to zero to all the way to +25 so it's all over the map. Usually when you look at it this way, there is a clear trend in the STFT relative to the maf voltage
