I think all the big name tuners here on MSF have trickled down to just Nishan, Freek, Finkle, and Lex. I'm not on Facebook so I don't know what's going on there. Times have definitely changed though.

EDIT: I just noticed, did you chop your crash bar for the FMIC?

Beware that the SP63 fan controller can fuck up your AC compressor. I believe there is a disclaimer on their site. @avesfan01; was telling me and @ms6mil; about it at ENM

I chopped the crash bar when I fitted my TR8 a while back, my car has been through a lot of different set ups, haha.

damn, I never heard that. All it says is "On MS6 applications, your fans will not come on automatically when the A/C is turned on but will still turn on at normal setpoints. This can cause your A/C to not blow as warm when air is not moving over the condenser."

L19 headstuds are installed, what a pain. Huge thanks to @Mauro_Penguin;, @Roddiy; and @fasteddie128; for coming down to Key West to help me out in an 18 hour marathon install Saturday afternoon to Sunday morning. If you guys have any pictures of the engine bay during the install feel free to post them, somehow I forgot to take a single picture.

We followed How-to swap head studs in the car mostly to do the install. The most difficult part was getting the exhaust cam sprocket on due to the timing chain being so new there was hardly any room. I'll probably post more about it later, I'm still exhausted from it.

I think if we were to do it again, we could probably get it done in 6 hours or less. There was a huge learning curve with this.

We cannot forget a big thank you to @xxdjfate76xx; and @Sid3wayS; for letting us borrow the almighty "UniCron"!!!

That damn exhaust sprocket and timing chain tensioner though. Made a 6 hour install into an 18 hour install fueled by coffee, cigarrettes, redbull, 10 minute power naps, and a mysterious bacon chicken ranch sub?!?! On the way home I was a little delirious, suddenly women started looking sexy and I wanted nothing to do with men. Truly a weekend I will never forget. LOL

I only have a couple of pics left, my goddamn SD card keeps eating them up. I won't post pics of the classified dildos we used though! But I haz a pic of Rod passed out in your car and Ed knocked out from all the Key West rape rufees we gave him.

I'll post up a pic tonight after work on DJ's thread with our setup for torquing that exhaust cam bolt. I have a feeling that it could help out other folks that don't have access to a welder.

It'll probably be a few months before it ends up getting tuned up to its capable power level. Unfortunately work has been crazy busy and it takes about a 3 to 5 hour drive in order to get to a place where I can hopefully do logging runs . Key West FTL

What kind of power levels are you running?

My last Vdyno said 425/400. Tune isn't finished yet. Ill most likely hit the rollers in a couple of months to get some real numbers.

Unfortunately no, my car has taken a back seat to work and family for a bit. I did get the 6th port hardware to swap out for from the 5th port. It'll probably be late this year or early next year before I get it tuned up. I'm not looking forward to the fuel economy though, hah. I'm getting about 12-14mpg down here as it is. Although a tank lasts me 2-3 weeks since my drive is super short. Oh well.

I'm also expecting to have to swap out the clutch too since I'm back on a stock clutch and flywheel which I'm sure won't hold up to the power levels I'll be at. So I'm still trying to figure out what I wan't to go with, Maybe I'll go back to the ACT clutch.

haha, well, I let it warm up for 5-10 minutes before I drive it every time, and it's only about 7 miles each way to and from work, so that probably plays it a big role. I have remote start and just got into the habit of always letting oil pressure and temp get to their normal conditions before driving.

hah, It'll be a ways out before I do a clutch swap, I've been building a go kart up in Minnesota (or at least ordering a ton of performance parts) that has been eating up quite a bit of money. Although I got a hell of a deal on the kart itself, $300 for the kart with a ton of parts.

Well, the time has come again. I will be stocking out my car and selling it. other priorities have presented themselves. It's been a fun ride (mostly). Time to get a cheaper car and pay off this debt. Once I find all the stock parts I need, I'll post a Thread with everything for sale. I'll be keeping the built engine with the car when I sell it since I don't have the time to remove it and install a stock one, so whoever buys it will get lucky with that. Nator FL peeps will more than likely get first dibs. This'll probably take a few months to finalize, but I'll keep this as up to date as I can.

I would say like 14-16k. But it's a small market. Not a ton of people no what a speed6 is. And a lot of people stay away from heavily modified card when looking to buy.

I think some banks typically finance ~130% of what it blue books for. I'm sure you'll be able to work something out.

Holy crap just read the whole thread all the way through. This car has been through some hell! And a millions configurations! Did you ever get the bolts back into the transfer case? Lol.

Is there rust all over the under carriage? My current car is essentially spotless from ANY sort of rust. Even on the under carriage.
