I remember talking to him about this but I don't remember the reason why he didn't do it. I know he looked into it though. May have just not been cost affective for the budget he was going for.

VW was working on dual charging a while ago, not sure if it went anywhere.

Interesting build. Needs to be cleaned up a little, but awesome work! I would have never of thought of doing this. I have one of those superchargers in my garage Definitely points on being original! I would like to see some vids of it running down the road!

BTW, when I dealt with PE's US ops, they were fuct. Ordered an exhaust for my Z from them and they triple-charged my credit card and could only issue a refund via check. /old-and-long-story.

Lol @ having twin superchargers and twin turbos and claiming 700HP... Why even bother? There are GTRs making well over 1,000HP with only twin turbos. Sure, I bet this makes better low end torque, but c'mon. You might as well make it worthwhile if you're going to go through all that effort...

Funny cause just like someone said on the first page if he would of made a post about this before actually starting the project, he of got flamed to a crisp, lol.. MSf can turn people off initially.. But that is a hell of a setup!

At what boost pressure does the bypass TB open?
He is incorrect assuming that because the supercharger is a centrifugal blower that the boost pressure doesen't get compounded. It does if the bypass TB stays close up to the point where you start chocking the blower. It doesn't matter what type of blower creates the boost pressure feeding the turbo on the second stage.

He has the throttle body wired to a pressure switch that opens it at 15psi.

Awesome build and impressive exercise. Tuning that crossover point along with an electronic boost control for the turbo would be killer.

After the bypass opens the blower is still pushing air towards the turbo and still increasing pressure in front of it. The biggest restriction is probably the intake tract.

even keeping the stacks would benefit if they would fit under the cover.

it was the complete lack of a plenum...of course you can run ITBs there's just nothing to collect the air.
