The car runs great. Surprisingly I cannot notice any lost of power in the lower rpms. My current compresion ratio is 8:0:1. I thought that I messed the setup up after I bought the parts. It is still drivable with the CM stage 4 clutch. The lw flywheel and corksport pulley help a lot to get the rpms up quick. I got on it after the 600miles to have an idea on when the turbo start spooling. On 1st gear it start spooling at 3100 rpms. Its fully spool 27psi at 4600rpm. I am pretty happy with the PTE 6262. I am planning on busting around 30psi. I was little skeptical about the eboost2, but I am happy with the out come so far. Meth kit is in with a dual nozzle setup. I am still considering the direct port setup I will know for sure after the mustang dyno meter is fixed. I am not spraying yet. I will be using the profuel controller for the methanol and the AP to tune. I am experimenting with that. Will post mustan dyno & dynoyet sheets to compare.

Thanks for the interest on my build God Bless you guys

Good shit man very impressive 8:0:1 mean very high boost lol. what cam did you go with?
I was also kind of worry about drop the compresion ratio too but after talking to a couple of big Hp people they said dont worry about it that it will be okay. PTE 6262 is a beast what size is your A/R ? That good it start spooling at 3100 rpm and fully boost at 4600rpm got to love it.
I was think about selling my turbo and get a new PTE 6766 lol but I am going to wait and see what this turbo dose fisrt.
As for the corksport pulley i'm considering of get one. I really didn't know if it showed a difference because I really dont know anyone who is using it but know I snice you said it help out with the rpm i'm going to order mines tomorrow.
How is the CM clutch I been reading bad things about it? I went with a CM twin disc clutch
I was think about getting a stage 4 like you did but for a couple of bucks more I just went with the Twin disc.

One thing I noticed...how do you have your ECU mounted? It looks like it's almost just laying there. You want the ECU firmly bolted to something and I've always heard you want the metal case on it to ground it.

My tubo is .82 A/R. I was skeptical about the clutch too, but the problem is wi9th the stage 3 clutch. I have an stage 4 6 pucks and I love it.
I wanted the twin disc but it would've add more time to my build. I had several set backs , and I didnt want to take more time. I am PCSing to Hawaii in a few months and I need the car ready before I ship it out. We did a hp run with the ap untunned and it was reading 392hp at 23psi on 93 pump gas. That was with the factory tuned with the 3.5" MAF housing calibration. I do not know how accurate is the AP dyno simulation, but it seemed about right.

I am still debating if I want to run meth 24/7.

THe ecu is bolted to its metal braket and bolted on to the stock TMIC and the frrame. It doesn't move at all, and is properly grounded its bolt to the engine and frame. I have a ground cable running to my intake manifold, another one from the old TMIC bracket, and the factory one. I did all that when I replace my battery in the trunk. I changed to a gel battery to avoid poisoning my family with the battery gasses.

well I have another set back. The clutchmaster clutch is great to brake in your new motor. but it slips and chatter after the 1k . The clutch now have about 1300 miles, and it start slipping at 6000 rpm running 20psi on pump gas. We already check everything out the clutch is properly install. Botton line the dyno is doing its work, the engine is doing its work, but I got a lazy clutch. I won't be able to get another clutch, installed and try to tune again since I am heading to Hawaii and Afghanistan later next year.

great build you have there
few questions
did you zero deck your block, or did you left dartons above deck for couple of thousands "
Oh, and do you have any leak problems with cometic, since 10mm arps i guess do not have enough clamping force for hi boost.
what are your head torque settings, 75 lbft?
thanks

90lbft. I got custom ARP studs with custom nuts not the ones that every one has. I am currently boosting 20psi (22psi overboost) on 92 oct pump gas and I haven't had any issues.

I've traveling a lot since February so I haven't had the chance to tune for meth and race fuel. I had some problems with the cluth (clutchmasters S4), it slips everytime I tried to boost over 25 psi. I need to fix this before I start spraying meth since I do not need meth for my current boost level. I am currently overseas, but my pump gas tune dyno was 456whp 498lbtq at a mustang dyno meter. The clutch slips so until I find a solution, or can get a hold of a SBC clutch, and I change my axles. I am leaving the car like that, since Its running really hard.
My daughter was just born on June 4, so my priorities have changed.

Default xPEPEx's Build

i need an update on this! sorry for the 6 year old thread revival but i’ve been looking for the previous owner of my car for so long and everything checks out:
>same blue coloring on the cams
>he had gauges in his vents and guess what, my vents are missing
>i saw the manifold that the guy i bought it from was selling, it was the same one from this build thread
>the guy i bought it from parted it out and stocked it out, he didn’t know it was built, said it had a 6262 on it, he thought it was stock block but i knew deep down it was built because even on spring pressure there’s no point to a stock block 6262
> same cosmic blue GT model
>pulled my pan, same rods,
>pulled my Valve Cover, same ARP headstuds,
>checked service history on “my carfax” and it was serviced in hawaii at the same time he was deployed there

car doesn’t run(yet), as of April 25 2019 it’s sitting in my garage here in the Bay Area, with 50,004 miles.

i need to get in contact with XPEPEX. anyone know his name or contact info?
