(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Obviously, versus the stock k04, it's a world of difference. Since i was a beta tester the installation was an adventure to say the least because for the speed 6 we have a gigantic transfer case in way of getting to all the bolts that need to be undone and on jackstands, i was frustrated to say the least, but Brett and Derrick at Corksport were awesome at guiding me through and getting it done. Compared to the the Speed 6, the Speed 3 should be cakewalk. they updated the instruction for the Speed 6 and now are complete and should be easy for most of the guys here. the turbo is literally "drop-in". For now i only have vdyno's and a cobb ap virtualdyno graph but hope to get it on the real thing soon. the vdyno is comparing last round of tuning on the k04 vs last round of tuning on the Corksport turbo the Cobb ap vdyno is just the last round of tuning for the Corksport where i highlighted the peak numbers i know it's not the real dyno but i heard they were decently close to the real thing. take it for what it's worth. FYI i've been tuned by FLOWtune. i am enjoying the car more than ever, friggin amazingly smooth i don't have a lot of posts up but i have been on here for awhile...just sorta lurking and getting the awesome information i needed hate if u gonna hate but thanks to Corksport for putting another option out there.

| Not Ranked : 0 score The only thing that worries me a bit so far is that the CS turbo spools by 3500-3600 rpms, I can hit 21 psi on my BNR at 3300 rpms. I guess we do not know at this point whether it is the tune or the turbo?

| Not Ranked : 0 score Some might see this as an advantage; especially those who are looking at a one stop/stock like install, low RPM high LOAD = ZZB; and it spools to redline unlike the K04 (I know you said BNR but the audience for this isn’t current BNR customers, well, maybe) its people on K04’s still...it will be interesting none the less if this is tuning.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I have the CS Turbo on my wish list to buy. What I have read so far it lags way less, spools like crazy and is great depending on the tuner. I will get mine in a couple months and we will see how it goes. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Thanks for posting up. Yea even though it took me 12 hours to get my CS on my MS3. I really thought it was rather straight forward and easy. Considering when I first got this car it took me 7 hours to do intake, TIP, HPFP.

As it currently sits the BNR S3 and the CS sales will probably boil down to two things: availability and loyalty. At least there is one more option out there. Once the 3rd gen 3 hits the market we are all doomed as far as future aftermarket parts anyways

| Not Ranked : 0 score I'll let Will post up his mods & such, but it's worth noting he's on the stock EBCS and MAP sensor, and running that special CA stuff that's passed off as fuel. There's more low RPM spool to be had I think, but we'll be maxing at 20ish psi till the MAP is upgraded.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I'm just taking a guess but I'm not sure if you should tinker with your maps just yet if this is a serious question.

While I understand your point, it's about air flow, not pressure. Some turbos can flow more air at lower pressure. It's also setup dependent. I'll reserve judgement until someone more fully bolted (with meth) finishes tuning to see what it can really max out at. Also interested to see how the bnr s4 finally shakes out. Either way, early on it seems like a good option for the money for those not wanting to go crazy.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Oh don't worry I am not touching my maps as I have no experience. It is going to my tuner next week, but was aiming for 300hp. Scanned your vdyno and saw 300hp, but not sure about what psi it took to achieve. Just curious thats all. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score the post prior to your first one touched on this. but the dotted line on the vdyno is where you need to look. they are maxing out at about 20 psi because the op is running a stock ebcs and map sensor (and limited by fuel). once they hit that target, they're carrying it through redline, or at least beyond 6k rpm (we haven't seen logs yet).
