I agree with some others that an exhaust manifold would be awesome!

The problem isn't that you guys aren't making cool or useful parts. The problem is that they are not an option for each model. Making a coolant reservoir because they are prone to leaking ... cool. How about you make it fit the cars that have been out the longest? Wouldn't they be the ones more likely to need a replacement? Someone is really lacking in the common sense department. My .02.

Good luck. In before more parts that don't fit one model or the other. Followed by more whinning and criticism.

Seriously, we need a Nator design team making "open source parts"

I'm down.

Would three other MSF members be willing to chip in $500 each (total of $2,000) for adjustable lower front control arms?

Here is a generic plan with the money:

-Buy two new control arms (left and right) to determine the stock mounting locations. I wouldn’t trust a used lower control arm, as one curb check is all it takes to tweak it.

-Build two prototype welding jigs to duplicate stock mounting locations and then use them to fab up the actual controls arms once the design is completed. I used to work next door to this shop and they did the same thing:

About Us : Maximum Motorsports, the Latemodel Mustang Performance Suspension Leader!

-Use heim joints for the two mounting locations and a similar design for the ball joint as in this kit:

CFM Front Tubular Control Arms for '00-11 Ford Focus

-Conduct a rudimentary destructive testing similar to this one at 2:30 onward time frame. This way there is a no B.S. and you have clearly shown that your lower control arms are stronger than stock. Also showcase the figures derived from the engineering package you guys use:

You could build something similar to that test fixture in 3-4 hours and use it for future suspension components.

Since this is a lower control arm, gussets and or pierced tubes with welding around the circumference are mandatory to reduce catastrophic failures during impact damage. I would emphasize strength, lateral stiffness for reduced deflection, and then adjustments in that order.

The four who provided the money should each receive a free pair of control arms and then CorkSport can make money on the other 96 pairs.

How about a on/off switch for all of us peeps with V2 APs that don't intend to upgrade. Basically all it needs to be is an OBD II connector male on one side female on the other with a switch in it. Install between the cable and the the factory port no cutting of wires needed.

Still not sure why anyone would want to put up cash just to say it was their idea. When I invest green I expect return on investment.

It's gonna sound stupid, but I proposed these before.

Hybrid aluminum and rubber inner fender panels for all models. Stupid inner fender panels on stock cars bust like nobody's business. The undersides need to be aluminum with bolt in replaceable rubber for the inner fender panel. Build them to blend with the aluminum skidplate.

You want I should draw the damn things up?

I've been tempted to make my own set for awhile now.

I would like to see an alternative to the cp-e exhaust manifold. Willing to be a lab rat to the manifold and the harness bar and anything else you guys want to test.

The CPe manifold is fine as is imho... as is the fullrace. What we need are twin scroll and/or flange options.

I see most people want to be a guinea pig. CS isnt asking for a guinea big, they are asking to parter with people, for a profit, in the development of new parts as anything they make based on recommendation gets shit on.

With that being said, I'm just an accountant who knows shit about manufacturing squat, so i am very interested to see what comes of these potential partnership with msf.

Still not sure why anyone would want to put up cash just to say it was their idea. When I invest green I expect return on investment.
Now... This is just a theory... But for $5 you could try it out.

I'm on the verge of snapping my axle (apparently). Only options are OEM or cheap as Chinese knock offs. It'd be nice to have one that supports more power than stock.

Maybe some corksprt seats to partner with the harness bar because a 5 point harness is useless without the proper holes for the belts. My legs and groin were so tired after mid ohio track day from holding myself in place. I am totally up for it. Would just need to make it look clean as I don't want a pile of shit in my car

You are an exception, along with a few others, my friend. I like your idea too!

Pretty sure @Lewis7789; would be willing to be my test subject for an MS6. I doubt the market is as strong on those though & it would have to be a different design/fitment.

MS3 AWD kit. Probably will never sell 100 of them; NCE. I'm making one for me either way.

If you figure out proper diff control I'll take one as well, I don't like the on/off method. I was pretty set to do it but this was the stopping factor

I have a crazy idea and do not have the funds to help start it but I will put it out there.

A t3 and t4 flanged top mount manifold. Pair this with a downpipe for both ms3 and ms6.

The goal of pairing with a downpipe is this. Say you want to track and drag race. I'm going to use pte turbos as an example. For the track day you could run a 5558. Drag day a larger turbo within approximently the same mounting location. Vband dp to make the swap easy. Not sure about the 100 kits selling but I would jump on it

the reason this isn't done is that the turbo doesn't fit between the engine and firewall without turning it 180* so the inlet is behind the engine and the dp heads out toward the battery

Longshot City, but I would LOVE a nice polished water filler neck with a built-in AST for my FD3S. Both stock pieces are made of plastic, the stock AST is in the way of a bigger intercooler (plus has a terrible record for failing), and you'd have a pretty cool/unique part that no one else offers. A lot of guys junk the water filler neck for one from an FC, which deletes the AST, but not all of us want to do that.
My Amemiya AST looks like a big polished tall-boy in my engine bay and I wanna 86 it.

Anyway, there's a pretty simple one and it might be a little money-maker. lol, You could blow out at LEAST a dozen of 'em in the US alone!!

The purpose of a top mount is to take the firewall out of play. It should sit more on top of the engine instead back toward the firewall. I know I have seen Dustin's twisted top mount thread but I still think there has to be a way to make this possible. Maybe slide the turbo mount closer to the battery to allow more room for the downpipe to pass. I am not an engineer and honestly have not done any work in that part of my engine bay but it's surely got a be possible.

Maybe instead of an even runner tubular Mani something more like a steedspeed but make it so it actually flows. There are tons of different ways to get the end result I suggested so there surely has to be a way to make it happen

Dustin made a top-mount manifold for a MS3. Alan from edge had it on his car.

I'm more excited to see Dans thread than the parts that come out of this one.

Maybe instead of an even runner tubular Mani something more like a steedspeed but make it so it actually flows. There are tons of different ways to get the end result I suggested so there surely has to be a way to make it happen

I think a Kim love doll would sell quite well. I'll just need to take some molds and will happily take on this burden. I actually do have a legit idea, but I need to take some measurements first.

Sorry for the late response but yes, I would like a harness bar for my MS6. But I very highly doubt CorkSport would pick them up since I also very highly doubt they would ever sell 100 of them. Maybe 5 to hard parkers and 3 to drivers. lulz.

Adjustable tubular lower control arms for the 3 would be total win.
That could be a big money maker for corksport, provided no one pukes a wheel.
