(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Here is my issue, I asked about shock re-valving for the coilovers in August of last year and have still not received any information on it. I figure you advertise they are rebuild-able so why do you keep ignoring me when I ask about it. I'm not pleased with the valving at all, at full height and at the stiffest setting they run out of travel, or the springs bind. Why you went with springs that only have about 2" of travel when compressed is beyond me. You could have went with an 8" spring instead of a 5.5". Isn't that why you do all of that development in the first place. I have emailed Brydon a few times about the noises I have been hearing and was inquiring if that was normal and heard nothing back. It also took me over a month to receive a replacement rear shock from you guys. It's a good thing I bought two sets then wasn't it. How can I compete if I can't even drive to the events? Lastly today was the final straw, I noticed that at full lock under compression your endlinks on your coilovers rubbed up against my chassis and have dug into the frame. Thanks a lot Crapsport. Not only have I recommend these coilovers to others helping sales but now I feel like I have given bad advice and steered others down the wrong path of poorly designed parts. You can't blame this one on installer error like you tried to blame the shock. I don't daily drive this things, I take them to the track and put them through stresses that you supposed engineered around. I humbly request a refund for both sets of coilovers and the endlinks. I will ship everything back to you I really don't care. I'm tired of having to deal with this. You are making the chassis look unreliable at the track when others see the stupid issues that I'm facing every weekend. |

| Why don't you order some swift coilover springs and use them? Odd to be at stock ride height and setting the struts to full stiffness. Are you a parking lot pirate or open track? Serious racers have multiple spring rates. I'm a progressive spring on coilover guy myself but no one makes them like thst unless you go custom. So I order springs separately and have complete control of travel.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I just don't like the run around, and it seems like it's not going to end because they reuse to answer my question. I have multiple spring rates and a converted race spring rear setup. However the damper cannot control the higher springs so what was the point. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score The 5.5" spring might be my fault. I bought these last september and with stock offset and 8" wide wheels there was no way it was going to clear. So the got a shorter spring. Is it a stupid way to handle the problem? Yes. Could they have been tested more? Of course. I thought the new design was working but I am now running into issues that other coilovers just dont have. Mostly because of simple design elements. If I could easily take back the purchase I would also. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 4 Beta

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Aside from the spring which are easily dealt with at this point, I don't see why anyone would want to go lower than the maximum height of these coilovers except for balancing purposes. The geometry of the suspension at any height lower causes you to gain positive camber during cornering. The stance guys see it by rubbing the fender, I've asked Corksport for rollcenter adjusters to solve this issue but nobody seems to be listening. I'm sure the stance guys would like to run wider wheels and us at the track would like to have a proper camber curve. Even with larger springs though, that still doesn't fix the endlink into my chassis issue. Kyllo24, why didn't you just use spacers? EDIT: With a longer spring they probably could have lost the helper spring. Mind you I would still probably use it and just run spacers. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score The problem is: 1. Needs an 8" spring for proper travel 2. Endlink bracket needs to be welded in the proper spot 3. Dampening sucks, The hardest setting is what soft should be, anything less then 1/2 is unusable on any road surface. Rear camber arms are awesome, I have them installed as well. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Damn, those springs definitely look like they have almost no travel at all.. In your OP, you stated you e-mailed them about the issue, but did you actually try and call them? From what I've read they aren't the most active vendor on the forum, so calling them would probably get you answers a lot quicker if you haven't already.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I discovered the end link issue last night, so no I have not called them about that. I have called and posted here about the valving and I have no been told anything other then "yes its offered but we don't have the details yet" About the no travel banging issue, I have not called either. I don't want to seem like a nagging customer. I emailed them waited a month and I've heard nothing. I asked it it was normal because I don't think it is, I wasn't sure it was coilovers related but I still didn't hear anything back. Judging by their lack of response I figured I was on my own. So now having discovered the complete lack of travel I'm supposed to be on the hook and buy new springs to fix it, I do t think so. I'll buy new springs for tuning purposes not to correct a design flaw. The spring rate might be great, I do t know because its blocked when I get on the track. |

That seems a bit backwards to me. I'm sorry you're having issues, I would be upset too but resorting to this would be a last resort if I was basically turned away by them with all my problems... A little tapa tapa taparoo...

I'm at work over 60hrs a week, when I'm not at work I'm at the track when would you like me to call. I'm at work right now. I ordered 2 kits both had the same springs, I installed a 3rd kit and it had the same springs what would lead me to believe I got the wrote g springs. | |

2. Call corksport while dispensing said log in toilet 3. Resolve issues with coilovers Jk man, i hope you get it figured out. Are there any other members here with these coilovers? I wonder if this is an isolated incident. Sent from my LG-LS970 using Tapatalk 2

| Not Ranked : 0 score I agree -- call them. Calling is always always always the best way to get a quick resolution to the problem. Most of these companies are relatively small operations. Like fewer than ten people. Yet they probably receive dozens or in some cases hundreds of emails a day. Almost impossible to keep up with. By calling, you can simply direct them to your email so they are aware of the problem and can help you more quickly. I'd hesitate to call out a company if I hadn't spoken to them first. ANd I have some experience in this arena. :|

| Not Ranked : 0 score By screwing in or out the black body into the gold lower section you can adjust so that you have the spring not fully compressed. I reached out to Derrick and Joel and they will be in contact asap(read Monday).

| Not Ranked : 0 score car is set to as close to stock height as possible. in the absence of roll center adjusters in the front, i found that stock height gave the best handling characteristics at the track. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score by the looks of them they not deigned for stock height, that would keep the coils from bottoming out, by having less preload would fix the spring binding issue but valving is a diff story

| Well, after seeing the strut body on the first photo, something isn't right. You don't see that type of damage on the body. Secondly, those springs have mad pre-load. http://www.mazdaspeedforum.org/forum/foru...601_211554.jpg
