Nothing. A fiberglass version should be much cheaper to produce. I'm assuming they can use the same mold.

Finally saw one of these today, nice looking piece actually...it actually doesn't look as out of place as you'd think from some of the pics.

I would be curious to see if new molds would be offered on this at some point. The pictures on this look a little odd to me from the side profile but it could be good. Something with a raised rear similar to an sti (but not that aggressive) might be nice.

Does/can this scoop involve reworked ductwork to take advantage? any upward lift over that will just pass over the ductwork and do nothing for the tmic...

I'm talking about that plastic piece that goes under the hood of the car and redirects the air down into the tmic core and lowers BAT

you know... the FUNCTION of the hood scoop? It's not just an inverted dustpan.

if the scoop is enlarged the air wont actually make it into the tmic if it bypasses the ducting that puts it there... not unless its either reducted, reduced, or redirected somehow.

You haven't actually looked at said duct work, have you....

Sure I have. it doesn't seal all that great with the hood but it does seal against the top of the tmic...

Scoop won't provide benefit to bat's if it goes over the top of any ducting and just blows air around the engine bay.

So, in other words, no, you haven't really looked at it. The CS hood scoop doesn't change where the top of the hood is. It just has a bigger mouth...so I don't see how you think it's going to blow air over the top.

Different weave, working with a different company to make them, better quality overall.

Also i'ts re-released now... if people didn't realize it... Though I heard we have very low quantity and will probably sell out. We will have more 2 weeks from now.
