All I was saying is a torque wrench is overkill for an exhaust IMHO. I'm the most hamfisted, least mechanically inclined man on the planet and that'd be overkill for me. I would assume their over-tighten warning is just kind of a disclaimer, you know?

Kudos for calling out inconsistencies in the instructions - I just think torque values for a catback is excessive, that's all. I'm betting 99% aren't even looking at the instructions
