We could machine Stainless knobs easily and then have custom CS socks made so you don't burn your hands or freeze them in the winter.

The socks could double as sweat bands. Because I know everyone works up a sweat working on your cars.

Total weight of finished knob is 330g. The stock is 280g. So an 18% increase in weight and you wont burn your hands.

Looks very similar to the original with a tighter stitch and no shift pattern. They are done. We are releasing something else at the end of the month so this will probably be packaged and forsale by early next month.

I believe the colors they chose was to match the red stitching of the OEM interior.

I just really want a heavy knob that is leather wrapped. Shit gets hot here in Texas, those all metal knobs are not acceptable around here.

If you decide to design a replacement metal shifter assembly, I don't see how you can beat TWM's design and there's a reason why TWM had to make a full assembly, its not possible to swap out just the stick itself on the Gen 2's (unlike the gen1's), so it would have to be a full replacement. Which would mean about same cost as well. If you can find a way around this, definitly look into it.

About the shift knob, nice design, I like the stock knob design anyway so will definitly look into buying this.

In all seriousness though, Ive been thinking about this a bit. I buy high end PC gaming equipment. The mouse I use comes with weights which can be added or subtracted to change the overall feel of the mouse for each individual user. Why cant we have a shift knob that does the same. That way if someone wants it lighter than stock they can take out some weight, and those who want more can just add some.

Doesnt seem too hard at least in theory.
