Default CS TMM vs. OEM + insert question

I was curious if anyone has gone from the OEM TMM w/ CS insert to CS the full TMM. How much more vibes and tranny whine is there? I currently have the OEM TMM w/ CS insert setup.

I speak directly on this because I replaced my oem with insert to a MD TMM at the same time roughly that I did an engine swap, new clutch, BSD delete and MD PMM.

BUT I will say, with the mods you have listed I'd stick with the oem with insert. It's the best of both worlds for daily driving.

Going from the OEM mount, to the OEM mount + CS Insert, shifts were definitely smoother. There was definitely a little more tranny noise, I didn't really notice any more vibrations.

As stated above, with your mods, no need to get a full mount. The insert will do you just fine, and you will like your transmission a little more.

Have had the insert for quite some time now. I "do" love it. I am back to the stock PMM too. Hate it. But I also hate too much timing chain noise. Vibes don't bother me at all. It was the fact that it sounded like the chain was getting ready to cut through my glovebox. lol. For PMM's I've tried Sure (garbage), JBR 80, then JBR 70. All so noisy. Thinking of giving the Dammond PMM a try soon.

The DM PMM is still noisy as shit. Just not as bad as others.

I'm fully mounted with DM mounts, and love it. To me it feels like stock (honestly, I don't remember what all OEM monuts feels like anymore lol), except when the A/C is on, or you don't get off the line with enough gas, you can definitely feel it then. Other than that, the car is solid.

I had all CP-e mounts before the DM mounts. Held the engine in place beautifully, but there was definitely more vibration/noise/NVH than with the DM mounts.

My $0.02, if you aren't pushing more than 300hp, just an upgraded RMM, stock PMM, and the CS TMM Insert will do just fine, while still retaining the stock feel.

Ok. I'll stick with what I have, until I go BT. That'll probably be a while.

I have been using cs tmm and rmm inserts for a couple years now. My conclusion on them is, they will stiffen things up slightly with no noticeable cabin noise or vibes. They will prevent your stock mounts from failing. I've inspected mine and the stock mounts and inserts are in fantastic shape. So if you're ok with the stock mounts and want to prevent them from ripping apart, these are the way to go.

I'll also add that I have installed a JBR pmm. By far this has made the most difference with stiffness and vibes compared to my CS inserts. Inserts aren't as effective when it comes to stiffing.

I believe he was asking about what to expect when going from CS inserts to Corksport's TMM replacement. He already has the inserts installed.
