I took the shop car out and didn't really notice any NVH over the exhaust. The rear view worked well and I could hear the stereo. Pull the trigger and be happy!!

I really like the TMM insert. I'm looking to stiffen it up a little but keep the wife happy by not increasing NVH. Also love the price. I will be ordering the TMM insert Monday.

It's on the list of items... but the list is growing very fast. We're actually hiring another person to join the engineering team to deal with all the work we have. He will be starting on May 1st, hopefully that will help us get "caught up".

Just installed the Passenger Side Motor Mount & Transmission Mount this morning. All of the little trimbles and sways, rocking that I hated so much are gone!! Didn't realize how much movement came from the PMM and TM. As far as NVH, my exhaust is still louder, no crazy vibrations in the pedals or seat. On my test driving, the front end feels like its just glued to the road and I already have the RMM Inserts installed. These are MUST have parts from Corksport no matter what you have planned for the car!! I filmed a before and after and you can see the difference!!! Those videos are posted on Corksports Facebook page under, "Recent Posts by Others!"

Just FYI guys, all I've seen the tmm do is add NVH to the cabin. PMM is what needs to be replaced, for sure. POS oil-filled mount.

are you saying that you need to replace all of the motor mounts? I prefer a very streetable setup, why would you need just the RMM and TMM / Insert?

no. I was saying I'd leave the tmm totally stock, all it does is add NVH.

This is with Jbr mounts, but for me I felt like all the Pmm did was add nvh, however I also did it last.

Shifting felt better after Tmm for sure, and the only nvh I really noticed was tranny whine.

I had Pmm back to stock for a while for dealer to do vvt tab, and overall nvh went down quite a bit, mostly low rpm stuff. If I was on a budget I would have gone with just ram and Tmm, well that's without considering if the Oem Pmm would blow later. If I couldn't take the vibes of all 3 mounts, IMO Pmm would be the first to go.

I will be down at cars and coffee tomorrow. You should check out the mount. Drive the car and give me your feedback. The car has 85 durometer rear motor mount and ~80 durometer PMM motor mount and a ~85 durometer tranny insert (Not offered to the public because it is the biggest PITA to install). You will have to let me know what you think if you can make it down.

Corksport! Thinking of switching out my Streetunit RMM today for yours... but will probably inspect my Streetunit one since I haven't noticed any problems so far. It would be nice though to have yet one more Corksport product on my car! That would put me over the $2500 mark on parts from you! This is exactly why I buy from you. Avoid having to do these things.

I am in the market rite now for a PMM as mine just exploded last week. I love the desighn of the CS PMM, however I think the price is a little high jamies is still the best deal on the market, and is the way I will be going. if it was priced competitively against the JBR mount then I would consider it but its 50$ more + shipping and does the same job. Plus with the JBR you get a choice of urethane density. I love corksports products dont get me wrong but to me the price is a little to much. I will however be buying the trans insert just my .02 thanks

I can understand what you're saying. However, I think the proof is in the pudding. If your end result is to get a mount that won't move and spend the least amount of money, there are many choices. If you are looking to get a mount that won't move and was engineered to allow you to use your rear view mirror, talk to your passengers and keep your foot from falling asleep, then you'll soon find the market is much smaller. We find that engineering makes the difference. That is one of the reasons that our mount did not come out first and also why it's not the cheapest. As far as urethane density is concerned.... that's a LONG conversation... suffice to say, the durometer of a bushing is inconsequential if you don't consider how it is being used. We design our mounts to use the bushings in a way that plays to their strengths. I've been seeing a few examples where certain numbers get shaped into measurements of fact and that is just not the case. Durometer is one of them.

Just food for thought, if you are looking for the lowest price, you may not always find it from us. But... if you're looking for quality and engineering, maybe it's worth not buying the cheapest parts.

Kind of reminds me of what my old Snap-On dealer used to tell me: "Quality isn't expensive, it's priceless".

Just received my insert tonight going to install it tomorrow at work and see how it feels

Received TMM insert today and installed. Easy install made easier with a bit of soap to lube the rubber (flame suit on...lulz). Went for drive to fill up tank and don't feel any appreciable difference which I'd say is a not a bad thing with no increased NVH. We'll see after my daily round trip to work. One item of note on the rubber insert removed it was broken and chafing pretty good, broken edges weren't crisp. Car has 39,600 miles on it.

At the end of the day I'd say so far it was worth the $40ish to my door thanks CS.

I've got to be honest I'm a bit skeptical about a mount with so many 90* angles and itself is bolted together. Have you considered having it machined as one piece with rounded edges (see below) to reduce the stresses? I'm sure there would be significant cost difference. That and I'm still trying to understand how a small mount that has a weight hanging from one side of it and rotating around the longitudinal axis of the engine is going to hold up with such small isolators. I do understand the RMM is supposed to limit the rotational forces but let's be honest there are so many flavors of mounts out there with varying degrees of stiffness and some allow considerable movement. What are your thoughts?

I get the feeling I'm not going to convince you with word, engineering, testing or videos... You may want to just watch the forums for the next few weeks and see the people who get theirs and their impressions.

It's not that I can't be convinced but being around many disciplines of engineering and engineers all of my life I'm sure you can understand how I might have become skeptical. I used a bench vise to help with the insertion.

This is pretty normal. I believe the stock one is only good for falling apart. Other than that it is not a great piece.

Brydon left for the day, I'll see what he has. The stresses probably aren't as much as you would think. If you get a chance, look at your stock mount. It is relatively flimsy but still supports the engine adequately (for non-enthusiasts). Because of the way it is situated most of the stresses are fore and aft so the mount is strongest for the way the torque is applied to it. If somehow the engine was trying to torque toward the passenger side, the mount could possibly have a different design... but probably not. The bushings are designed for the torque loads that they are given in the application they are in. There is a reason the designs with the bushings placed horizontally don't work well. The job of the bushing is to isolate, in this case, not to move. When allowed to move they don't do their job properly.

Sometimes it's hard to give a short explanation to these things, I think if you examine the stock mount and ours, you will see fundamental similarities that allow ours to maintain the integrity and increase the strength of the original design. All that, and you can see out the mirror and talk to your passenger...
