Default Gotta give Corksport props.

I just finished reading your blog. Lots of new products on the way for 2nd Gen. There are not a lot of manufacturers giving the gen2 a second look, so I just wanted to say thanks for developing parts for these cars, looks like I will be broke for a while, thanks for the good service from you guys.

I agree, decent products at decent prices, I would appreciate a little better no much better inventory control thru the website. I don't like getting an email on a Monday stating we won't have that in stock for two weeks or so but thanks for the Paypal payment and we will hold your money until we have the parts.

A little update, it has been two business weeks, sent an email today to see what the status is on my order, NO RESPONSE AS USUAL. Again we (CS) thank you for the money and we will send the parts when we get around to it.

With paypal we don't have the option to not take the money, If we are out of stock and you pay with paypal we have no problem holding the order open and refunding you the money and letting you know when the parts are back in stock. With a credit card only a authorization is done when you place the order then we only charge when the parts are shipped. We don't like to be paid for the parts until we are able to ship them. Its better for everyone.

Zach, Got a Email from I believe your dad (Bob) about your order. I had replied to his email on the 4th but he said he did not get it and yesterday I updated him with the pads should be in on the 10th. He said that was fine. The manufacture has been out of stock on the pads and that's what we were waiting on. If you have any questions please give me a call.

Chris.

Yep he said he chatted with you, allowed CS to modify the order to different pads that were sent to you. Then a call stating that the brake lines were out of stock, but if we would take something different then things could ship, not this time. When will my order ship, I believe you stated that the brake lines would be only a few days.

As far a Paypal is concerned, I don't think a full refund was ever offered with the promise that the order would stay on the books with payment when the order was ready to ship.

I do like that Corksport thanked Corksport Chris, wasn't that nice.

I do like CS products but the inventory issue needs to be addressed by CS, if you don't have inventory, put it on the website. There are other vendors that we all could use.

Kinda interested in those Corksport mud flaps! Wondering how much they're going to cost. If they're cheaping than Rally Armor, ill be picking some up. Not paying $120 for flappy plastic.

We will have the mud flaps out next week. I will post up with a link to them when they are posted.

We also have a few more new toys which will be released soon for the Mazdaspeed 3.

I am not sure how many people noticed the new picture of the TMIC in Jake's blog post that went up today....

I saw that, but I'm really intrigued/interested by/in the gen2 FMIC kit with scoop being used for the air intake.

all I have to say is I have never had issues with CS even when stuff wasn't in stock. Zprice, no offense but in the real world... you pay for things even if they don't ship the second you pay for it. Especially buying things online. You could have always called, they pick up, can and will answer your questions and are cool as fuck to talk to as your dad found out.

Keep rocking out CS, I'm getting the CBE installed tomorrow with a DP, can't wait to hear it and thanks for the FAST shipping on it!!!!

Speaking of props to Corksport...... THEY ACTUALLY SENT ME A CHECK!!!! Granted it was for $8.82 because i let them choose shipping method, dont even know which order it was from but i'll take it. Not sure if this is normal for othe r companies but this was a first for me. Great Company Great Products. ( hence all the CS parts on my sig) Only reason i didnt order my springs thru them was it was a few bucks cheaper and shipping was less with tirerack..... Is there any way you guys could do a price matching thing Derrick or Chris?? Would rather support a Vendor.

I have nothing but good things to say about my dealings with Corksport. I almost feel bad for Chris, who had to deal with my girlfriend trying to order my racepipe and intake for me for my birthday. She was absolutely clueless on what I wanted but he helped her get it right. Thanks Corksport!

I also appreciate the the fact that they let you know when they don't have inventory on an item and when they expect it to be back in stock. I have been waiting on a CP-E pump now for about 3 weeks with not a word on when to expect it.

So regarding PayPal.... I'm a software engineer at that company and my team implemented the check out process with their Merchants. So I know the hell how that thing work...

Yeah, CS don't charge the credit card until they are ready to ship out. Got the same experience when I ordered my FMIC kit.

Not a all company do so. Some will charge first, get the money and let you seat and wait while they have your money.

It's a bad habit here in the US. If an item is out of stock the system shouldn't be letting customers order it. On the out of stock items, check out should be disable. Or at least disclose that the item is out of stock. Don't give me wrong, for merchants taking customer's orders on their waiting list just means revenue vs. not having the ability to check out that item. I can fully understand that.

So I saw couple sample of speed3 part manufacturers (will not give some name bcz don't want to make enemies here ) here, collecting FULL AMOUNT and then promisign delivery the next 2-3 months or later.

So, what If I pay and die before the delivery happen? or what is If that company files for bankruptcy?

Just some toughs, don't take it too seriously......

This Californian thanks Corksport for expeditiously and proactively getting CARB approval for their SRI for 2010+ Speed3's. After installing the SRI with laser-printed CARB EO# on the MAF, I never have to worry about failing a visual smog inspection, or having to re-install the OEM airbox to pass one. The car performs soooo much better now, I can push it to redline without the turbo falling on its face, and the car just pulls waaaay harder. The air intake sound is pretty cool too ... takes some getting used to (sounds like my sister eating spaghetti!). Will be checking out the TMIC next.

Yes, CS is great. I ordered a DP, knowing they were on backorder and I received a couple emails updating me on the status. I also installed their CBE last weekend and the thing growls like a bitch.

My only complaint is they don't have free shipping, but I'm just a cheap bastard.

nothing is ever free, the companies that do offer free shipping have just added enough into the price of their parts to cover the most expensive possible shipping which means if you live local and pick up your parts you are still paying what it would cost to ship it all the way across the country. I have been involved in shipping/receiving for about 14 years now and have worked places that do it both ways and from my experience the companies that offer so called "free shipping" are making money off there shipping because they are charging every customer one set price for shipping and 95% of the orders don't cost what they've figured in to their price for shipping. CorkSport is only charging each customer exactly what it will cost to get them their product.....just my .02
