I agree that there's almost certainly a problem. I'm just waiting for a solution from Corksport. It's not realistic to think that they will just immediately decide what measures they need to take. I'm hopeful that they offer a resolution that's acceptable to everyone.

Let them regroup and have their meetings on Monday as I know that they plan to and figure out what IS wrong with the lug nut. The gent who posted under K2 will have a talking to as he kind of went off the reservation. I have posted in other manufacturers 'part failure' threads and yes I am a sponsored driver for CS but I always say call and talk to the party first not to hide anything but to deal with them on a one on one basis,believe it or not they don't hang on the forums 24/7. I'm not defending a fail design here but give them a chance to make good.
Teddy I have just about every part for power that CS makes and some not on the market yet, and the greatest tuner of them all @rfinkle2; in fact I think he tunes you too. Under his belt with my parts from CS I have the fastest Ko4 Pu and You have the fastest Pu period with that sweet BT set up of yours coincidence I don't think so. Common denominator @rfinkle2; The testosterone has been flowing here and all that I'm saying is everyone chill including "K2" give them till Tuesday and then have at it. No disrespect to anyone just saying what was on my mind. Do I run these lugs, No I will not run Al lugs I had them for a while and then had an ole man moment and lost the lug wrench for the Volk bronze forged Al lugs (old timers moment) and rethought when I replaced them and went with steel, If you want to save rotational weight get a lighter wheel with the correct offset. I run spacers but only with slicks and they are hub-centric.

With a lug nut why would this matter? How fragile are these things? If they can't be torqued to factory specs apparently not very tough. I have 44 year old lug nuts on a car in the garage. If I were a company, and my reps /engineers are fully aware of a safety issue now, I would want said employees notifying me ASAP. People can get hurt 7 days a week not just Monday thru Friday.

I think the prudent course of action is to 1. take them off the site for now 2. email the purchasers and ask them to remove them from their vehicles until further analysis can be done and 3. if you don't have OEM or other lugs to put on your car in the mean time, check your torque and do not drive aggressively until the assessment is complete.

Even I didn't read MSF, as a Corksport customer I'd feel better knowing they put my safety first.

This sure be taken as a WTF to corksport and has absolutely everything to do with safety which is why I'm suprised they haven't reacted much.
