It's still a bit confusing because there is the big red disclaimer stating that the maps can only be used if you have an upgraded downpipe. But, there are still maps listed that don't have any other mods, and some with just a SRI etc.. It makes it seem like maybe it is okay to flash their maps without an upgraded downpipe.

Does anyone really have only an upgraded downpipe and internals?

I can't speak for the CS maps specifically but a downpipe is never a necessity in my experience.

If you do have a downpipe, often when catless, the map should be suited for it however. The biggest possible issue is overboosting.

This is what I was getting at with my question. Mods like mine usually come before a downpipe so I thought the downpipe disclaimer and then listing individual mods was odd.

You sure can. But if you have researched, you would know the best place to start is MAF Cal, then start the tuning process.

I know I need maf cal and adjust wgdc for sure. Using OTS as my starting point and a DP requirement is new to me. I wonder if that was supposed to say HPFP internals like most other stage 2 maps.

Stage one tunes are mostly the same besides the mafcal for your intake.

Read fail. Stage two you need internals. Without a dp worst case you don't meet boost targets

if you run a race pipe en on a stock downpipe youll meet your stage 2 boost targets no problem. call derrick or spencer they wont bite ya.

I'm rocking the ATs because you guys had to make a 5 part series documenting your journey to anal retentive perfection and miss my window - but with my BNR S3 install I intend to use up all available fuel.

If you want to loan me a set of these I'll gladly put your 8% additional volume claim to the test - lots of new S3 V2s out there might want some headroom if they aren't spraying meth.

I can also test this. As I am on Full E and I am currently Running out of fuel in my Mid range with My AT's. An 8% fuel increase would sure solve my problem....

@Evan@COBB; clarified for me that IDCs will not benefit from additional pump volume - the injectors themselves won't flow more, so 8% is pissing in the wind until we have larger injectors.

I am not running out of IDC, I am experiencing pressure loss. I am dumping in a shit ton of fuel and there is just not enough volume in my system to keep up with the demand. I had to lean out my AFR's to compensate.

My limited understanding says the same thing. Your Fuel Injectors will run out before the Fuel pump does on either of them.

Just installed these last friday with the cs resonated race pipe, couldn't be happier corksport.

So I have some conflicting data on running out of fuel pressure and the IDC figure being a horseshit number that means next to nothing without some context. The CS internals still might be beneficial to people running out of fuel *pressure* provided they do offer that claimed additional 8% flow.
@Enki; inviting you in for the discussion if you care to elaborate or share a log.

I'll see where my beener tune takes me fueling wise, and if it comes up short on the pressure side for whatever reason, I will be making the swap and putting them to the test.
