3" ID on MAF housing. The intake part itself is a little smaller ID. I believe the OD is 3" though. This was the first thing I checked when it showed up at my house.

Sorry guys. Still working out compression problem with my tuner. Praying its seals or dirty intake valves. This bad boy has positive gains and I want to be able to quantify them in my review. So that's what's taking so long. Thanks for your patience to everyone that's been waiting on me, esp @CorkSport

With the first gen, you have to move the ECU or get a 51r battery box. There is no way around this. You cant even drill the battery box holes out and move it over, it will still hit.
I chose to get a 51r battery and JBR battery box.

I also had to pull the heater hose back a hair for more room. I wish I had got an extension for this, but I made do with what I had. Whenever I work in that area again, I will add an extension in.

Other then that, I didnt have any other fitment issues. Hope this helps.

Got mine all installed a couple of days ago. Overall I'm very pleased but I had two problems.

1. My package did not have the BPV hose. I already submitted a message to CS and I'm sure it will be taken care of.

2. There is no way this intake was going on without moving the heater hose in some way. I also see no mention of this problem on the site or the instructions. I opted to slide it about 1/2 to 3/4 inch down the nipple it connects to on the side of the engine. This barely gave me enough clearance to get it installed. Problem is, now I'm worried about the hose though I think I left plenty still on the nipple to hold.

On a different note, I did not have the clearance problems I've heard some people having with the filter contacting the hood. This leads me to believe that's not a product problem but just a need to adjust the coupler to avoid contact.

Also glad to see the use of metal air foils which look to be very well attached in the MAF vs the plastic ring that came loose all the time on the SRI. Good decision there.

I installed this with the CS ECU relocation battery box and once it's all in, it's all very nice...but damn was it a bear to get the battery box in with the intake TIP already installed.

Ya I did mine with the battery box as well and it was a pain in the ass to get it all in there

I'll be installing mine today with the stock battery box. I already have the ECU relocated. I will make a post after I'm done.

1. I am sure they will take care of it.
2. I slid the coupler on as far as it would go before installing it. The heater hose was there but you could push on it enough to get the coupler on there.
3. It won't hit the hood if you push everything closer together from the Tip to the Filter.
4. The metal air straightener is much better than the POS Plastic ones.
5. I wondered hoe much of a PITA that would be.

would the gains be worth it from the stg 2 intake to this?

sounds like a really tight fit w/ the stock battery location

Don't know for sure on gains. To be honest, I've been so mod crazy the last couple of months I haven't gotten any solid numbers.

I will say that I'm very much in need of a tune now...which is being taken care of by @Mike@Stratified;

They are, was never worried on that front. Everyone makes mistakes...it's how you handle correcting them that makes or breaks trust in a company.

Didn't realize you were asking specifically for the CS FMIC and 3" intake. I guess it makes sense though since they all route through the same general area.

@timmcc02; Specifics generally help a lot lol. oh well now people know what my engine bay looks like lol. I believe CS stated that it does fit with their intercooler piping. Tho it doesn't look like it would. that hot pipe goes right into where the filter would be.

Sorry guys It made sense to me ha. Ya I was wondering how the hell it would fit but I saw on their website that it "has been tested" with the 3" intake. Very vague. Maybe @Spencer; @CorkSport; could chime in to possible alterations for fitment.

I haven't seen it installed myself, just confirmation that it will work. I'll have to see if I have any customers info that has both installed currently.

This would help a lot. If you have any info and pics of it in the MS6 and getting around the writing harness mount, reservoir, etc. That would help a lot. I'm running your stage 2 right now and would love this upgrade on my Speed6 in preparation for the BNR S3 this fall.

@kritz has the fmic and intake installed. The intake sits on the the hot pipe. It's a really close fit.
