Just finished installing this bad boy. Great Stuff. Thanks again to @Spencer@CorkSport; for the personal delivery. I won't know how much extra power I am creating until I fix my BCS (the one i broke on install) but even with that creating a leak it pulls like a raped ape now and sounds like sex.

Stock MAF cal on 3" with no bcs. That's not safe? lol

My BCS isn't broken, I just broke the nipple to the inlet intake. The wastegate is still hooked up and the BCS is still holding boost where it needs to be. It's only for a couple of days until 3 port (will run 2-port) comes in. I'm also not running too hard and watching it like a hawk on the AP.

And I am running the MAF cal that Corksport/Lex supplied. Although after the new bcs I'll do another one. Good looking out, although clearly you don't check the Nator section much. ;/

There are 2 .pdf's in the instructions. One for how to do a MAF Cal, one with the suggested starting #'s for the MAF scaler.

@CorkSport; I'm having issues with the intake filter rubbing with the hood. Did you guys have that problem with the shop car? I'm guessing i need to push the silicone connections down, if i can. Any insight would be great though if you guys ran into the problem already...

Edit: I have stage 2 RMM so shouldn't be moving that much..

The silicone bend that connects to the maf housing should be curved like the stage 2 =. You should be able to simply turn that 25 degrees toward the driver side nd stop the hood rub. I had the same issue on the stage 2 and it was that change that fixed it.

That silver bracket can be removed. It is only there for the stock air box i believe. When installing my Stage 2 it came very close to that bracket and i had left it for a while before a buddy was like "dude, undo that bolt and remove that shit."

Plenty of room now.

Actually, i believe you are talking about intake sitting up too high and touching the hood. You should be able to spin the silicon to angle it to the right more.

Hmm. So I took a look at it tonight and as far as I can tell that silcone that connects to the MAF is straight, no curve. So the only thing you can do it move it back and forth on the pipe. I pulled it out the best I could to try and make it "hang" a little lower. We will see if that works. It's rubbing on my hood insulation. It's only during heavy engine movement I'm guessing.

The only other thought is trying to rotate it at the turbo itself but I don't think that works because it is screwed into the stock bracket so in theory it should be where it needs to be.

Even with a straight silicone piece you can adjust how the two pipes curve by clamping them down at a slight angle. I am not sure how much is needed here.

You are correct. I guess my concern would be long term wear on the inside of that silcone if you let it hang at an angle. That being said, if it's a common practice and no one has seen any long term issues than I'll do it.

I'm running this intake & haven't run into any issues with rubbing against the hood, fitment was pretty tight in there. Wouldn't have made it far if it wasn't for himurax13 lol. Still the gains were definitely there after the install. I do have to agree with The Nut about the black inlet pipe instead of polished chrome. Switcharoo?
