wonder if you could dye the red to black...

Are there any dimensions? I had a Cobb knob and it was a bit bigger than stock and I didn't like it, not to mention it's too cold. I've been wanting an all-leather knob. how hard would it be to stick a caliper on it and get a measurement of the width and length on the top?

Any chances y'all could offer this with the shift pattern on the top?

I spent weeks looking for (1) a leather shift knob this exact shape with red stitching, (2) that didn't use a universal adapter, and (3) that had our 6-speed shift pattern on the top. Found a bunch of knobs that met two of those categories, but didn't find anything that covered all three. That's when I ended up getting my current JBR knob in the f/s section.

If this came with the shift pattern on top, I'd be getting rid of the JBR knob to get This.

We tried to get the shift pattern in the top, but couldn't come up with a solution for it. stitching never turned out well. So I don't think we will offer it.

i think its 265 grams

i would have gotten a universal too if i could find one in leather that didnt have stupid allen screws holding it on. it seems like you can't have everything in an aftermarket knob... until now but the red doesn't work when the rest of the car has silver stitching. I'm surprised they didn't just go with black for compatibility...

Nice! Would be cool to have the option of different color stitching. Specifically the silver as stated above.

Couldn't get measurements, how about comparison photos.

Thanks... Cutting away the widest section using paint and comparing it against the oem looks like it is a wee bit wider...

This is a tuff decision. I like my perm knob, but always liked oem look of this. Maybe a local nator can pick up it up.

Damn, I wish it was a bit heavier. I'm used to JBR's weighted shift knob (think it's like 620 grams). These aren't going to sell out like last time and be gone are they?

Sticker on leather would probably fall off. The metal brand idea is honestly the best idea. Not sure if it will work but we might try it.

What if the shift pattern was embossed?

I know it's probably irritating to hear people constantly ask how things might be changed, but the embossing could even be an upgrade you might offer if you didn't want to do it on all of the shift knobs. All you would need is a leather stamp, would take an extra 5 seconds on each knob.

Why do people care about wanting a shift pattern? Do you guys forget where the gears are? i'd rather have a cool CS logo on top.

That's how much I payed for mine..shipping is $6.20 plus $8.56 for Washington state tax.im in Everett wa

I had the original run of the leather shift knobs. The weight difference is noticeable but not drastic, and the knob itself definitely has a larger diameter on top. It feels very 'oem' in the hand. Insert "thats what she said" comment.

I only sold because i wanted a knob that sat lower compared to stock. I'll probably be picking another one up as it will mate well with the height adjustable CS short shifter i now have. :-)

i'd actually like it to sit up an inch or two higher, but no more. thought about getting a 2" extension but then dealing with the boot might be a pain. that is why i'm liking this knob since it's designed to fit perfectly...

Recently purchased one of these love the feel of it but fitment isn't what I expected. I may have a short throw shifter installed? (just bought the car) It screws on but doesn't tighten down. So when I'm giving it hell the knob moves. Anyone else have this issue and if so do you have a fix for it?
