The speed 6 and genwon still don't have a battery box, coolant tank or hood struts. So Im thinking we will be passed on this one as well. Disappointing really. Figured if it would be nice for genpu's, it would also be good for genwon and speed 6. But, what do I know. Atleast I got a 3" intake.

@CorkSport; part looks good but check the instructions on pages 2 and 10it appears that the years listed in the instructions are switched overlapping etc ie not correct

Otherwise the piece looks solid I like that the adjustable part of the shaft extends all the way through the pivot point for strength.

Anyone else notice that the shifter assemble is flipped from 2010/2011 to 2012/2013? Fucking weird.

Also @DookieMuncher; can't wait to play with your shaft and knob on Sunday.

I'll unbunch my panties when I see it. Same was said for battery box, hood struts, and coolant tank and we still don't have those. Not sure why they wouldn't just release the same product for all speeds at once.

Is your shop car running the shifter bushing kit along with the new short shifter? I know the original bushing kit was designed to reduce slop in the shifter, but would it still be needed when going to the replacement shifter? Wondering if you would recommend installing the bushing kit at the same time as the shifter.

I would assume so, because the bushings give the shift cage a solid mount. If you keep the rubber bushings in there, it will allow some slop feel to it.

Battery Box is a maybe, Hood Struts are a YES for sure... and the Coolant Tank is a No, unless we start selling more. Since there are more GenPu owners than GenJuan owners we base a lot of our decisions on making it for the GenJuan on how well it sells for the GenPu, sadly. But typically if it doesn't sell well for the GenPu which has more owners, it also will hold true that GenJuan owners won't be buying either.

We are running the shifter bushings with it, definitely would recommend them at the same time.
