It looks like the 2012-13 is still available for purchase the 2010-11 is not available. Maybe it's just a 2010-11 issue?

From my install, I certainly can't see what would be wrong for the 2012-2013 anyway. I'm certainly curious though.

I believe it only applies to the 2010-2011.
The bases are different and the cable looks like it attaches opposite side(not sure if there is a benefit to the 2012 base/design). Something about a part being wrong I was told.

Helped my friend install one on Friday night. Everything went in fine except the ball stud was on the wrong side if the shaft out of the box. That added an extra couple minutes to take it apart and move it to the correct side. Other than that, it went smoothly.

@I am a banana; helped me install the Corksport Adjustable Short Shifter.
Overall, I really like the shifter and it's quick short throws. It was easy to put in. We found that removing the center console gave us more room to work with. We had to buy white lithium grease and T20 torx bit.

The shifter came with the pin on the shifter ball on the wrong side. We realized it after we put the assembly back together. No big deal, we just moved it to the correct side. @Spencer@CorkSport; heads up on that. Also, I hear that a couple other people are also having issues with the 10-11 MS3s' center console hitting the adjuster plate. I'm a 10, but don't have that issue because my center console is off a 12 MZ3 SA.

Here's where the pin should have been placed:

I have a TWM SSP and, combined with the shifter, the throw is super short. I have it set to the shortest throw position. I tried the longer positions, but the 1,3, and 5 gears wouldn't engage. I think that's due to the SSP being installed. I adjusted the height to be a tad higher than stock, but the height is limited by the boot. Any taller than stock and the boot gets yanked out when I tried to go into 5th. Adjusting the height helped get into gear easier, since it has a little more leverage.

In this picture, you can see that the knob is more to the right in neutral, since the shifter isn't angled towards the driver.

SPEND!!!

Worth it to me. Shifts smoother and feels better than the SSP. Only possible downside IMHO is that it moves the shifter to the right.

Are you running it with a SSP? I don't want to have to take mine out, but the 1,3, and 5 throws are so short, I almost feel like I should.

Took the SSP and the lighter counter weight out and put the OEM ones back on.

Did they specify if this was just for the 2010-2011 vehicles?

For those that have it how much of a difference is it really from say corksports short shifter plate n bushing combo? Is there that much difference to justify getting this n selling the current setup?

Shifts smoother than the SSP. Height adjustable unlike SSP. I feel like I've said this before.

I saw u said it was smoother just asking for others. Not like you can make much $ off the ssp.

That's not terrible, wanted to change the 2011 center piece anyway to the black 2012 with silver trim.
I assume you can probably just swap out the boot and plastic piece there anyway.

I don't like how it's angled to the right when in neutral. I won't buy this piece.

The shifter isnt angled to the right... It's still straight up/down in neutral, it's just located slightly right of stock position because the Corksport shifter does not have the same shaft bend that oem has.

I flopped Teddy's knob around at ENM - the move to the right didn't bother me at all (could hardly tell) and it felt very concise (granted while parked). If I weren't already happy with my Damond SSP I'd be getting one. For extra particular people this will probably give you the options you want.

Perhaps I worded it wrong. I can see from the pics that the unit isn't actually angled. I just don't like how it sits further to the right in neutral.

This is correct. It is a 2010-2011 problem only. If you have changed your center console to the black console from a 2012-2013 it will work fine. I don't believe you can swap just the shift boot and plastic since it won't clip in together. Should have the revision in about a month.

If you can manage to get a center console and shift boot bracket from a 2012-2013 Manual regular 3 or a Skyactive, that will work too.

I checked under there today and the clearance between the adjustable shift plate and the plastic trim of the boot is less than a finger's width. Thanks to @I am a banana; for the trim piece off his old Skyactiv.

Installed mine today. A few observations:

Not that it was a huge deal, but a lock ring on the bottom of the shifter shaft or a keyed shaft with a stop pin would be nice so you dont pull the assembly apart and have the detent spring shoot out while adjusting the height.

Other than having to come up with a little ingenuity to get the 3 tabs engaged simultaneously to disassemble the stock setup by myself the install was a breeze.

I have mine set on the shortest throw with the height almost at the max. I removed the collar from the shift boot, with the shifter extended this far it pulls the boot taught in 5th and 6th, I didnt want it pulling out. I need to come up with a solution to improve the look of the boot without the collar.

Well I noticed that the fingers that holds the ball at the bottom flex quite a bit. Some sort of insert could be installed under the steel ring that is screwed down. It could eliminate the remaining slop.
