Is the fitment the same as the RAM air kit, in that I don't have to relocate windshield washer tank? And is there a difference in performance? Cause I actually like the RAM air model cause it keeps the engine bay looking stick.. but I always wondered if there any issues as far as heat with the filter sitting on the engine

There is no re-locating the windshield reservoir with the SRI version of the FMIC. We are offering the kit for people who prefer to run a SRI.

So what about performance? Does one put up better #s than the other? Being that I don't have a Sri at all, the ram air fmic is what I'm going for..

I didn't see on your site the piping size on this unit. I currently have a CPE unit and might be interested in a better unit.

The way we run our piping, I don't think 2.5" would fit in the engine bay without making a lot of permenent modifications to the vehicle.

just purchased the kit and installed it right away. it was extremely simple and it only took me a little less than 3 hours. i will post up some pictures of it on the car later but if you get the kit and see how the pipes are routed u'd be like... "omg this is some crazy engineering." the pipes run below the driver headlight, just perfect so that the bumper fits back on there without any modification. All i followed were the picture instructions and it was sufficient enough to install it. I am very glad they are local so i can pick up whatever parts i need.
