Honestly the fact that you weren't the original owner is probably why we denied a warranty request, though that plus the 2 year mark made it a definite deny. Unfortunately we had some that had failures, and others that are still out there running fine after several years. We did change the design to strengthen the bars. If you want to email me I can see what I can do. Maybe we can come to some sort of deal like I offered someguy.
