Yeah, it should fit. The exhaust is the same on both cars, it's just the engine that's different.

seing that they are essencially the same car but ok i suppose everything car modders do is an exact fit, god forbid somebody try to find out something new or see if a part could be jerry-rigged by coming to a mazdaspeed forum to ask if anyone has already tried.

If you want to make you car look like a ghetto, hacked together piece of shit, go right ahead. You seem to be on that path already...

And stop with the smileys, this isn't facebook.

never said i was getting that one definitely and i never knew custom work on a car = hacked piece of shit, just because you cant do good custom shit on your car doesnt mean that everyone else cant.

Got people putting ebay blow offs and other cheap turbo parts on their cars, things that are way more dangerous to experiment with but you wanna give me shit about an exhaust

get your head outta your ass you pretentious dick

Try the ms3 catback setup, different car but same engine, so should work. Right?

You could always just get a couple of the magnaflow 11226's for about $80 a piece and pay $50 to get them welded up. Decent sound, cheap and we can all put this silly thread behind us...

They may look to be "essentially the same car," but if looked at the two, they only have a couple pieces that look the same. Different engines, almost all different body panels, as well as different drivetrains. The only parts that look similar are interior pieces but realistically the ms6 are higher quality.

Also why we are giving you dumbass answers is cuz you asked a dumbass question. If the part says that it won't fit the ms6, it will not fit.

I'm not saying this is entirely true, but Mazda pretty much made 3 first gen 6es. (At least body and underbody wise)

The sedan (and wagon?) is different from the hatch is different from the MS6. As already stated, they look similar, but there are differences all around.

If they were the same, there might be an AWD wagon hooning about. But they aren't. And there isn't.

I'm all for throwing an exhaust on a car if it'll help with performance, and sound good, but just go with an option that's already out there.

There's plenty to read and I'm sure there are ample reviews on what's out there specifically for the MS3/6.

Not trying to be a dick, but that's just how it is.

just remember ms3 has about 25 deferments cat back from 350.00 up and more coming out each month, ms6 only has about4-5 different cat back and all are north of $700.00 .Don't bash the op for trying to find a more economical solution to a cat back because 700-950 for a cat back is a rape!! and pretty sure some of you would be doing the same thing if you were in our shoes.

There is (or was) a wagon speed6 hacked togeter by (i think) someone from germany, on this forum.

This exhaust can be made to fit, as I have seen one modified to fit a speed6

It's pretty pointless thought. He did cut the flange and welded them to new pipes, which were bent to meet the mazdaspeed muffler. The hangers where at the right place. The tips had to be modified to fit the bumper. In the end it looked like shit.

Just build yours from scratch.

lol, I can't believe no one mentioned the "2.00" Pipe Diameter For Optimum Power Gain"

Fitment aside, we've been doing everything wrong. Clearly we need to narrow by .25-.5", and not increase the size for optimum power gain.

The awd system is the same in the v6 so clearly the exhaust is the same.
That's a direct fit. Disregard what the manufacturer says.
That's a sure bet. Your money is safe.
