Default 100,000 + miles club:)
So i didnt see a 100,000 mile club on here so figured I would start one!!! Mods feel free to delete if you can find something I cant, but i searched google and ,msfsearch with no results matching


So maybe we post up our current rough mileage over 100,000 and what stock parts you have on the car that your surprised has still held up


im right at 110,000 miles and still have stock tune, clutch, fuel pump, and block/internals , and its been running on aftermarket parts for its entire life without a tune.... (to my knowledge) NO SMOKING TURBO EVER!

honestly i have replaced clutches in every single one of my cars so im overly impressed with the stock ms6 clutch. Hope to change my tune and FP status soon, but it is what it is


Any others killing some stock parts on high miles?

107,xxx miles here. Stock tune, stock FP, and stock internals (knocks on wood) also. However, turbo is about to go and CEL lit up this morning. Mods are in sig.

Hope to go stock soon and sell before joining the zoom zoom boom club.

104,XXX here 2008 speed3. surprised my EGR valve hasn't given me any problems and my turbo hasnt died yet.

06 Speed6, 110k- stock fuel pump, stock DP, everything else replaced with bolt ons

Forged motor, thermo jamed shut at 80k and the motor overheated, new head, new bottom end stock block, same crank, same cams

Origanl turbo still kicking despite surviving the melt down, origanal cb boots, shocks blew in the rear, on 3rd oem passenger side mm, stock clutch as for as I know, replaced all 4 coil packs at 90k

06 ms6 3rd owner 109k took a shit last month

stock block, turbo, fp internals.
cpe cai, billstien hd rear shocls

rod bearings toast. turbo with an inch of shaft play and pretty much no seal.
clutch is bad, 2nd one on the vehicle (guessing cluth tsb) i have to replace this one. vvt is about to go, chain has slack, tensioner maxxed out.

newly acquired- cobb sri, tip. pg turbo 0 miles, fidanza flywheel
still cant make my mind up on clutch....

176,347 on 07 MS3 GT. Amazed to still be on the original clutch and rear brake pads.

Mad clutch skillz, yo! Really, I have no idea, it just keeps going!!! Lots of highway 6th gear cruising, and I probably don't abuse the car as much as I should. I'm hoping to get 200,000 on the stocker.

Holy shit... 176k?!?! Impressive!

I'm right at 104k.

Bent rod at 84k... replaced short block. Clutch was doing great at that point but had them replace it anyway since everything was out already and it wouldn't cost me anything extra other than parts.

74k on my 08ms3. bought the car new. Mods are Cobb stage 2 93 map, turbo xs dp (no cats), cnt catback, Cobb sri. I drive it hard every day and haven't put anything on it but brakes. Car has held up great. going BT soon on stock internals

First Gen2 to be in the club. 100300 miles and rollin. Stock clutch and rear pads. 2nd ko4 tho. I'm thoroughly impressed.with the tranny and clutch in this thing. Good to hear some of the gen1s are lasting.

1k to go, I'll be there in 2 weeks....

Only issues, relief valve went and my driver side axle just started making noise. I guess I can't complain though, I've done 30 autocross events and 15 track days.

114,000 miles..
06 speed6.. clutch TSB and turbo TSB @ 35k miles. ( didnt even need the TSB's but what the hell if they where free ) !!
been bolted & tuned since 40k miles.
burns NO oil @ 3500 miles changes with Shell Rotella T6
mods in sig.
Only problem i have had was the drives side rear axle seal @90k.. started a very small leak. easy fix that was.
so knock on wood , its been a great car so far !
bought it used with 27k miles on it ..

She was tired of her mommy mobile Nissan altima and she liked mine so much from racing it with me for the past 2 years she got her own. She loves driving it and its nice cause we have something more comfortable to drive on road trips than mine. She works on them almost as much as I do and it helps she used to work paint and body for a few years. Plus she's now a service advisor at the Mazda dealership and she's fine as hell. yeah I'm lucky as fuck.

But i get anywhere from 280-320 miles a tank depending on if i get on it a lot.

Hmmm ill be interested to see what they say. My GF got her job as a Mazda service tech because they fired one for doing shady shit like promising all sorts of things under warranty. Just sayin get shit in writing.

I just rolled over 95k on my MS6. It's on the original clutch, rear rotors and pads (as far as I know). I added a CPE-Nano SRI, JBR SSP, Cobb AP with a tweaked stage 1 tune, and a Sure R6 RMM, but otherwise the car is pretty much stock.

It's not a manufacturer warranty, it was a used car warranty from a used dealer (12,000mi/ 12mo) and its a 3rd party company who covers the cost.

Have had vvt and oil cooler replaced by dealer.

Other than that, lovin the MZR as much as a 16 y/o WRX owner.

Mods:
MS CAI, Gutted 2nd CAT, MS CBE, COBB AP: SnailTuned. Stock everything else.

Oh I lied I replaced front struts and bushing.
