Default 3-guage pod with Navi?

Hey guys... Title really says it all. I'm trying to find a creative way to get three guages mounted on my Genwon speed3. It did come with stock navi, or I would just do the classic three guage dash mount. Anybody have any solutions?

I want to avoid the pillar mount because I don't like the idea of deactivating that airbag. I've heard some stuff about vent guages, but that is only a solution for one of them, right? And I'd like to fit at least two but three if I have to due to it being a triple guage pod unit.

Has anybody out there gotten creative with the nav flip up and trying to utilize something there? Thanks everybody.

JP

Sorry - should have specified, I have an aftermarket double-din head unit. I did see this^ thread but it doesn't apply because I have double din

If you have a double DIN why are you keeping the stock nav?

I heard it was a big project to butcher out the nav system.

The center piece can be had for about $25 at a wrecking yard. Pop the trim strip off above the glove box, 2 screws and pop the nav panel off and unplug it. You did say you're using a double din NAV?

If I actually take all of the nav stuff out, is it that easy to just put back in if I ever resale? Cuz if I take nav out, I'd wanna take the whole DVD player and everything out for weight reduction lol

All that crap should just unplug 'cause it didn't come on every car. Something more to gather dust on a shelf in your garage.

Ya I never use that nav that came with it. I don't even know how to fully use it to be honest lol. I may just yank it out. Thanks. Until then, I'll brainstorm other options lol.
